Former NHL star captured on camera in ugly exchange with neighbors over parking

Former NHL star Sean Avery was captured on video raging against neighbors over the way they parked their cars on a street near his Hollywood Hills home.

That’s according to TMZ, which shared the footage of the perturbed athlete confronting a group of guys.

“Avery — who said he was house-sitting for someone who lived on the block — was clearly livid with everyone, explaining he believed the cars were parked illegally. He demanded they move them at once,” TMZ reported.

He was also seen making a threat.

“The next time one of you guys parks your cars there, I’m going to snap your windshield wipers off,” Avery told the group.

When one of the guys in the group asked the former NHL player if he was crazy, Avery replied, “100 percent. Ask around.”

At one point, the person filming asks who he is, and Avery walks up to him and spells his name out to ensure there’s no misunderstamding.

He also had this to say, “I just want you to use your f**king brain because you’re going to have to do it in life. And have an ounce of f**king respect for people.”

Avery, who was convicted of attempted criminal mischief in 2019 after being accused of slamming his scooter into a car in a road rage incident, did not have a good summer.

His Sports Illustrated swimsuit model wife, Hilary Rhoda, filed for divorce from the ex-NHL player in July, according to TMZ Sports, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
