Already under fire for allegedly beating his ex-wife, a Republican congressional incumbent in Ohio is now facing a restraining order as well.
The restraining order against Rep. Max Miller was filed against him on Monday on behalf of former Trump administration press secretary turned leftist turncoat Stephanie Grisham.

While the reason for the restraining order remains unclear, it comes years after Grisham penned a 2021 column in The Washington Post describing abuse by an unnamed former Trump staffer.
It just so happens that Miller used to work in the Trump administration. In addition, he used to date Grisham. While Grisham didn’t name Miller in the piece, it was obvious to many who she was referring to.
In the immediate hours after the op-ed was published, Miller sued Grisham for defamation. He eventually dropped suit after he and Grisham signed a nondisclosure agreement agreeing to not publicly trash-talk one another.
Years later, Grisham filed suit against Miller last month alleging that he’d broken the agreement during a June 5 appearance on Spectrum News in which he’d tried to smear her without actually saying her name.
“Without question, every allegation [against me] should be taken seriously,” Miller said before attempting to debunk Grisham’s particular allegations. “What should be noted is [Grisham’s] allegations [in the Post] came out on the same day as [her] book launch.”
“And the other part, what I would like to discuss, is my ex-wife was with me every single day during that time of my life in that election, and she, in her own words, will tell you that I never did any of those things,” he added.

The drama engulfing Miller’s life has become so intense that even President Donald Trump has taken note.
“President Trump phoned Rep. Max Miller Monday and expressed doubts about the Ohio Republican’s candidacy,” Axios reported on Monday. “On the call, the president told Miller that ‘things aren’t looking good’ and repeatedly said his reelection would be tough.”
Of course, this isn’t even factoring in the abuse allegations Miller faces from his ex-wife, Emily Moreno, the daughter of fellow Republican Sen. Bernie Moreno.
The latest incident between Miller and Moreno allegedly occurred on Feb. 1, when Miller allegedly struck Moreno during a custody exchange at his home involving their 2-year-old daughter, according to the Daily Mail.
The attack left bruises on Moreno’s body, she alleged. As proof, she shared photos with the Daily Mail of the bruises:
During a prior altercation that occurred in June of 2024, Miller allegedly threw a pot of boiling water at Moreno. Some of it allegedly hit her chest.
Miller reportedly wrote a letter to Moreno later that same day. While he didn’t admit to any abuse in the letter, he did profusely apologize, writing that his guilt was eating him alive.
“I don’t know what to do,” he wrote. “I do know you love me, protect me, and care for me. I failed to do that for you. I’m sorry and I just want to close my eyes and wake up and everything be normal.”
“I know that won’t happen. I’m sorry I failed you and Ruth. It’s eating me alive. I love you, even if you think I don’t. I love you so much. I’m so sorry. I’m just a f— up and worthless,” he added.
After the two officially separated that year, they reached a divorce settlement months later in June 2025 that called for Miller to pay child support and share joint custody of his daughter.
Miller has steadfastly denied all the allegations against him and continues to defend himself daily on social media.

Miller is backed by investigative journalist Michael Tracey, who has alleged that the allegations against him appear to be bogus.
