Fox News’ Bret Baier tries to corner Dr. Oz as a ‘MAGA Republican’ deemed by Biden to be a threat

When the United States proudly stood against communism, sacrificing blood and treasure to combat it in wars around the globe, the Red Scare was a serious cause of concern to those who understood the threat posed by leftist ideologies to the republic.

Now, with avowed socialists throughout the halls of government and globalists pulling the strings across corporate media, the Red Scare has taken on a new meaning with piety tests rooting out allegiances of Republicans to the RINOs of the swamp or to conservatism, and Dr. Mehmet Oz’s response just may speak for itself.

Joining Fox News anchor Bret Baier for an exclusive interview on “Special Report” the Senate hopeful running in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania against progressive Lt. Gov. John Fetterman spent much of the discussion defending the pressure of his campaign on the stroke-suffering socialist to meet for a public debate. However, at the end of the interview, under the veil of viewer-submitted questions, the host sought to learn how red Oz truly was.

“Are you a MAGA Republican?” Baier, who has consistently postured against former President Donald Trump, asked flatly.

“I support what President Trump has argued while he was in the White House,” Oz began his couched response, “that we can actually make America a great country if we put our country first, if we’re tough on trade, if we do the kinds of things that were done during that administration. I think a lot of Americans, if they look objectively at how the country was doing while President Trump was in office, would have to argue and could convincingly argue that it was in better shape than we are now.”

The candidate’s reluctance to associate himself with the MAGA movement as Democrats treat it as a slur comes as no surprise given Oz’s less than subtle pivot away from Trump after the president’s coveted endorsement had helped secure the nomination. The doctor’s campaign had thoroughly scrubbed its website of previously prominent displays of the endorsement but defended the decision by stating, “The endorsement is the first endorsement listed on our website and we changed the banner to thank Pennsylvanias after the recount was completed.”

Baier’s inquiry wasn’t limited to labels as he also asked back-to-back questions favored by CNN’s Trump-deranged Jim Acosta on whether the 2020 election was stolen before asking, “But you believe that Joe Biden is the legitimate president?”

“I do believe Biden’s the president. He’s in the White House. Now I think most people can tell he’s the president. When you look at the inflation rate at a 40-year high and generally lackluster ability to get the economy back on its feet again and now potentially putting us in a recession,” Oz explained, “it’s pretty clear that he’s president.”

As Baier laid out, most polls have Oz trailing Fetterman, who looks to be seeking the favor of moderates in Pennsylvania as a small percentage of voters remain undecided with little more than two months before the midterm election.
