Freed Israeli hostage in emotional clip reveals the only reason she wasn’t raped by her Hamas captor

A young woman who survived the hellish experience of being abducted by members of the Hamas terror organization and held for 54 days as a hostage revealed the only reason why she wasn’t raped by her captor.

Mia Schem, a 21-year-old Israeli-French tattoo artist who was kidnapped by the Islamist savages during the murderous October 7, 2023 raid on civilian areas spoke about her unthinkable imprisonment in Gaza in an interview with Israel’s Channel 13.

“His wife was outside the room with the children,” Schem said in the newly released Israeli TV interview. “That was the only reason he didn’t rape me.”

Schem said that she was kept in a dark room during her time as a hostage where she was constantly watched and was taunted and starved by the terrorist’s family, fearing that she could be killed at any moment and was fortunate to have not been sexually violated by the rapist brutes.

“[I was] closed in a dark room, not allowed to talk, not allowed to be seen, to be heard, hidden,” Schem told the outlet, the New York Post reported. “There is a terrorist looking at you 24/7, looking, raping you with his eyes.”

“There is fear of being raped, there is fear of dying,” the emotional Schem said, breaking down in tears during the interview as she recounted the traumatic period of her life. “His wife hated the fact that he and I were in the same room. You feel like you want a hug, you know, woman to woman, to break down a bit.”

“That’s all you had there. But she was so mean, she had such mean eyes,” she said.

The young woman was among dozens of others who were taken as hostages when the terrorists attacked an outdoor music festival, killing hundreds.

She was shot in the arm during the carnage at the Nova music festival near the border with the Gaza Strip on October 7 and was featured in one of the Hamas propaganda videos that showed her being treated for her wounds.

In another video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Schem described the treatment.

“I felt like an animal in a zoo,” she said. “There was an operation room. No anesthesia or anything. I was choking on my own tears. Then he looked at me and said: ‘Enough, or I will send you down to the tunnel!’”

“That I went through a holocaust,” she told Channel 13 reporter Lior Veroslavski. “Everyone over there is a terrorist.”
