Leftist Fox News host Geraldo Rivera just can’t seem to wrap his head around President Biden being allegedly ensnared in a criminal bribery scheme that involves the then-vice president and a foreign national exchanging money for policy decisions.

“Does anybody really believe President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme? Dollars to donuts it’s another bogus, blowhard, pretend whistleblower. Hint: If the person announcing a would-be criminal scheme is a partisan politician, it’s a partisan political event,” Rivera tweeted in a seemingly near-panic that the allegation might be true.

Attorney Jenna Ellis clarified the situation for him, “The list of people who DON’T believe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme is much shorter, Geraldo.”

The latest scandal to hit the president blew up on Wednesday when Republicans Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) subpoenaed the FBI for an unclassified document they say alleges a criminal scheme between Biden and a “foreign national” during his years in the Obama White House. If the Republicans can get a hold of that unclassified document and it proves Biden’s complicity, his reelection aspirations will go up in smoke.

No one on the right was shocked by the development. But Rivera won’t even consider the possibility that the allegation might be true. He appears to be in deep denial concerning Biden’s dealings despite the fact that his bank account records reportedly bolster the allegation of corruption.

Grassley made the move after he was clued in by an FBI-generated whistleblower form which reportedly goes into detail concerning the scheme involving the exchange of money for policy decisions, according to National Review.

“It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose,” Grassley and Comer charged in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland. “Based on the alleged specificity within the document, it would appear that the DOJ and the FBI have enough information to determine the truth and accuracy of the information contained within it.”

The letter goes on to say that it “remains unclear what steps, if any, were taken to investigate the matter.”

“The significant public interest in assessing the FBI’s response to this information, as well as growing concern about the DOJ and the FBI’s track record of allowing political bias to infect their decision-making process, necessitate exacting congressional oversight,” the letter asserts.

Grassley’s subpoena is demanding that Wray turn over all FD-1023 forms created or modified in June 2020 containing the term “Biden.”

“We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current President of the United States,” Grassley reiterated in a statement on Wednesday. “What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further. The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight.”

Comer was just as blunt concerning the revelations by the “highly credible whistleblower,” contending that it raises the possibility that the president “allegedly engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national.”

“The American people need to know if President Biden sold out the United States of America to make money for himself. Senator Grassley and I will seek the truth to ensure accountability for the American people,” Comer declared.

The House Oversight Committee under Comer has already waded through thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family business and confirmed in March in a memo that a number of Biden family members, including Hunter Biden, James Biden, Hallie Biden, an unknown “Biden,” and companies linked to the family “collectively received $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to Rob Walker, a Biden family associate.” That company was reportedly being paid millions by Chinese firm State Energy HK Limited.

Within six months of Biden leaving the Obama White House and after several bank transfers, the Biden family reportedly received a huge sum of money. Comer claimed in April that his committee still did not know who the unnamed Biden was in the China transaction because the Biden family holds so many bank accounts and LLCs.

Ian Sams, who is the White House spokesperson for oversight and investigations, said in a statement, “For going on five years now, Republicans in Congress have been lobbing unfounded, unproven, politically-motivated attacks against the President and his family without offering evidence for their claims or evidence of decisions influenced by anything other than U.S. interests.”

“When it comes to President Biden’s personal finances, anybody can take a look: he has offered an unprecedented level of transparency, releasing a total of 25 years of tax returns to the American public,” he proclaimed.

Geraldo Rivera was slammed on Twitter for denying out of hand that Biden could ever be involved in shady dealings that benefited his bank account:
