‘Give America the ultimate Christmas gift’: Charlamagne tha God calls for Biden to step aside

Charlamagne tha God risked voiding his black card this week when he called on President Joe Biden to “give America the ultimate Christmas gift” by withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race.

Filling in Wednesday as a “Daily Show” guest host, Charlamagne cited Biden’s dismal approval ratings while calling attention to the head-scratching moment the 81-year-old president told donors behind closed doors that he is only running in the 2024 election because former President Trump is running.

“This is Biden’s ego talking,” Charlamagne said. “If you think there are other people who can beat him, step aside. I know you think you’ve got this in the bag. I know he thinks he’s got this in the bag but the polls say otherwise.”

Recent polling has Trump ahead of Biden in several key battleground states.

“I want Biden stepping in to beat Trump the way I want him stepping in to defend me in a bar fight,” he continued. “I appreciate you caring but I don’t like our chances.”

Continuing in his bashing of Biden, Charlamagne dared to take a shot at the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a deity on the left, for not resigning when former President Barack Obama was in office.

“The point is, we don’t need Biden to beat Donald Trump — just like we didn’t need RBG to stay on the court. Maybe if RBG had retired during the Obama years, we’d still have Roe v. Wade. Maybe,” Charlamagne said. “People said, ‘No, she needs to be there to protect Roe,’ and now look, both of them are gone. It’s true, they’re both gone.”

“See, the facts are: Biden’s not getting any younger, he’s not going to get any more popular, and he’s not getting a new running mate. So please Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside,” Charlamagne concluded.

There seemed to be a common theme among social media users in responding to the story online — see if you can pick up on it:
