‘God is real’: Vivek Ramaswamy delivers 10 unapologetic ‘truths’ his presidential campaign stands for

Say what you will about Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, but you don’t need to wonder what he, and by extension, his 2024 campaign, stands for.

He is happy to tell you, in a manner that is resonating with many American voters.

On X on Thursday, Ramaswamy listed 10 “truths” that drive his bid for the White House, starting with, “God is real.”

With unapologetic conviction, the list goes on with claims that are anathema to progressive Democrats, including, “There are two genders”; “Human flourishing requires fossil fuels”; and, “Reverse racism is racism.”

The Millenial biotech entrepreneur goes on to decry “open borders”; advocate for parental rights in education; praise the nuclear family and capitalism; remind Americans that “there are three branches of the U.S. government, not four”; and, last but certainly not least, declare that the “U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.”

It’s exactly the kind of message many in America are craving, and Ramaswamy’s refusal to get dragged into name-calling and mud-slinging is gaining him supporters from all walks of life.

Even X owner, Elon Musk, weighed in, saying that Ramaswamy “states his beliefs clearly.”

“Clear and concise,” said one X user. “Other candidates should consider articulating their positions in the same manner as Vivek.”

During his speech at the Des Moines Register’s “Political Soapbox,” Ramaswamy vowed that he won’t be “bashing the other good people who are running in this race.”

“These are our colleagues,” he explained. “I’m going to depend on each of them, just as I depend on you, to revive this country.”

“But we do face a choice in this primary,” Ramaswamy continued. “The choice is this: Do you want incremental reform, or do you want revolution?”

The crowd responded with enthusiastic calls for “revolution!”

“I stand on the side of revolution,” Ramaswamy said. “I stand on the side of the American Revolution, that We The People create a government that is accountable to us, not the other way around. That We The People require a government that tells us the truth… about what is happening in our country today.”

“That is what this campaign is about,” he stated. “We stand for the truth. I speak that truth without apology.”

And Ramaswamy isn’t afraid to get specific on any number of issues.

Asked by one member of the Iowa crowd, “How do you want to get the economy revved up again?” Ramaswamy didn’t miss a beat.

“Here’s how you do it,” he said. “It’s actually really simple.”

“GDP growth,” he explained. “Not one percent, five percent. How do we get there? Unapologetically. Do not apologize for capitalism. Do not apologize for excellence. Drill. Frack. Burn coal. Embrace ethanol. Use nuclear. Unlock American energy. That’s the first step.”

“Second step,” he continued. “Don’t pay people to stay at home instead of to go to work. Put people back to work!”

The crowd went wild as Ramaswamy exclaimed, “That’s who we are as Americans!”

“Third step: Reform the U.S. Federal Reserve,” he stated. “You don’t need to play ‘financial god.’ Stabilize the dollar. Tie it to gold, silver, nickel, agricultural commodities. Stabilize the U.S. dollar.”

Lastly, he stated, “We will drain that swamp, shut down the three-letter agencies that act like a wet blanket on the U.S. economy.”

He promised a “75 percent headcount reduction of employees in Washington D.C. in my first term.”

“That’s how you get the five percent growth,” he said. “That is American exceptionalism.”

“Viv is likely the most articulate and logical candidate for any office in the USA – and as a #POTUS candidate he has no peer,” stated one user on X. “America needs this man as president to save a country that is disintegrating in front of our eyes.”
