In the wake of Hamas’s attack on Israel, House Republicans are looking to prevent the Biden administration from bringing Palestinians into the U.S. and allowing them to resettle in America’s communities.
Reps. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) and Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) are introducing the “Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission Act” — or, “GAZA Act” — which would “prevent Biden’s administration from issuing visas to those with Palestinian Authority passports,” Breitbart reports.
“Following the horrific attack by Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists on innocent Israeli civilians, the last thing America ought to do is trust identity documents issued by the radicals that oversee these territories,” said Tiffany in a statement. “We need to put our security at home first and that starts by closing the door to bad actors who might be seeking to enter our country.”
The legislation would also bar Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) “from funneling Palestinians into the U.S. through the agency’s parole pipeline,” according to Breitbart.
“At a time when the threat of terrorism is not only grotesquely on display but being encouraged and justified,” Ogles said, “it is critical that we do our best to ensure the security of our nation.”
As BizPac Review previously reported, one year after President Biden’s catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General issued a damning report, admitting that DHS did not have “critical data to properly screen, vet and inspect” those refugees who came to the United States.

“DHS may have admitted or paroled individuals into the United States who pose a risk to national security and the safety of local communities,” the report revealed.
“We determined some information used to vet evacuees through U.S. Government databases, such as name, date of birth, identification number, and travel document data, was inaccurate, incomplete, or missing,” it explained. “We also determined CBP [Customs and Border Protection] admitted or paroled evacuees who were not fully vetted into the United States.”
Many of the nearly 100,000 unvetted Afghans who were welcomed in America “were found to be linked to terrorism,” according to Breitbart.
Still, the “parole pipeline” remains wide open at our southern border with Mexico.
“[I]n Fiscal Year 2022 alone, Biden’s DHS gave green cards to about 63,000 legal immigrants to permanently resettle in the U.S. who arrived from countries previously included in a national travel ban list due to their involvement with terrorism,” according to the outlet.
On X, Tiffany declared that he was putting a stop to it.
“America’s national security comes FIRST,” he stated. “I’m stopping the Biden administration from resettling unvetted Palestinians into American communities.”

Reactions from users on X ranged from cautiously optimistic to skeptical cynicism.
You aren’t doing anything. You think this actually has a chance of going anywhere?

How about stopping the Biden administration from settling unvetted immigrants period.

seems a bit too late.. I don’t believe you. Politicians, I have not seen anyone do anything but evil since this crime family has moved into the WH. Actions speak louder than words. Prove it.

Others want to see the GOP go further.
“Biden’s immigration policy crossed the line to treason a long time ago. This is not simply bad policy. It’s an act of war against the American People,” one user said. “He should stand trial. So should anybody in his administration involved in this crime.”

But some are grateful for the legislation, even if it does turn out to be little more than a gesture.
Someone needs to freakin do something. This is ridiculous
