GOP Rep says Pelosi ‘blocked’ all commonsense questions regarding J6, including the ‘biggest’ of all

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) of blocking “the questions that make sense” about the events at the Capitol building on January 6, including “where did you have embedded FBI assets?”

Speaking Saturday with Fox News’ Dan Bongino on “Unfiltered” about speculations over FBI assets and agents and their role in the Capitol riot, Donalds said, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland “doesn’t want to answer that question.”

“And in the House,” Donalds continued, “Nancy Pelosi has blocked the questions that make sense.”

“Like, where did you have embedded FBI assets?” he said. “Like, what happened to the intel report that FBI sent to the Capitol Police, I believe it was three or four days before January 6.”

“And the biggest question of all,” Donalds stated, “What happened to the National Guard troops that Donald Trump authorized on January 4? How come they were not at the Capitol or even close by on January 6?”

“There are so many questions coming out of January 6,” he said. “Listen, Dan, I’m on the oversight committee. We had two hearings on this back in May and June of last year. At the end of the second hearing, when Republicans really started digging into these key questions that you are bringing up and so many others, that’s when Nancy Pelosi shut it down. That’s when she wanted to have this independent commission and then she wanted to play with the independent commission. That got shut down. Then she created her political bureau, which everybody got to see last night on the national news networks.”

According to the GOP lawmaker, the lies are catching up with the Democrats.

“They can’t keep their story straight because they’re trying to create a narrative where none exists,” Donalds said. “Listen, the violence and the riots at the Capitol were real. I was there. It was shameful for the country.”

“People must be held accountable,” he stressed, “but this political conspiracy that Donald Trump wanted an insurrection — that is insane. That’s insanity.”

“But then,” Donalds reasoned, “you’re also talking to the same political party [that] wanted everybody to believe Russia collusion. And we found out that the only collusion was from the DNC and Hillary Clinton.”

Donalds isn’t the only lawmaker calling shenanigans on the House hearings.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) alleged on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” that the evidence presented by the committee was altered, as BizPac Review reported.

Jordan’s own text message with former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was altered by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif), a member of the Jan. 6 committee, in December, when Schiff presented just a slice of a message Jordan forwarded to Meadows from attorney Joseph Schmitz containing a legal theory about overturning the 2020 election.

Said Jordan, the committee “is just a production, selectively pulling out information that we get no chance to see, presenting that to the American people in a completely partisan fashion.”
