Governor who defended Biden’s decline suddenly plays doctor on Trump

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker better not quit his day job, because he would never make it in the medical field.

For some reason, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked the Democratic governor to weigh in on whether he thinks President Donald Trump has dementia. To the shock of nobody, he quickly agreed.

Watch:

“Do you think the president has dementia?” she asked.

“I do. I think if you look at any of the videos from 2015, or 2016, and look at how he responded to questions and how he was at press conferences, and then you fast forward and look at him now, I really think that there’s something genuinely wrong with him,” Pritzker said. “I’m not a doctor, I haven’t diagnosed anything, I’m just suggesting to you that, just look at the way he puts words and sentences together and thoughts and they’re almost divergent in the same sentence.”

But perhaps it is Pritzker who has dementia because he clearly doesn’t remember his objection to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s assessment that then-President Joe Biden was an “elderly man with poor memory.”

“I thought it was extremely unfair for… a Trump appointee, originally to the Department of Justice, to offer his own opinions about the mental acuity or age of the President of the United States,” the governor whined at the time. “I’ve been with the President of the United States many times. He is on the ball. The man knows more than most of us have forgotten.”

So Biden is sharp as a tack and Trump is the one with cognitive decline? That’s the story he wants Americans to buy?

A quick glance through the comments reveals how unconvincing his argument is:
