A video of a groom furiously texting while walking down the aisle with his beaming new bride is making the rounds online, spurring plenty of opinion on just what’s going on there.
It’s not clear who the man was texting, but it was clearly important enough to him to do so at that precise moment. He could be communicating with family members who were not able to attend the wedding to let them know the deed is done, but that better be his momma on the phone if it is family.
Some on social media suggested that he could be dealing with an emergency of some sort, but that would have to be some emergency to justify his actions.
“My body is here with you, but my mind is outside of town,” tweeted a social media user who shared the video on Twitter.

The reactions ran the gamut, from those saying the marriage was over before it even started to those who insisted that the marriage would last for years. Others cast doubt on how much the groom actually cares for his new wife and whether the decision to get married was even his.
There were those who entertained the possibility that the man could have had a legitimate reason for texting at that moment.
Here’s a quick sampling of some of the responses to the story, as seen on Twitter:
Imagine on your day not being happy.
This man was either forced or doesn’t love this lady.
