Harvard alum Fetterman says school was ‘always a little pinko’ and now he can’t ‘recognize’ it

U.S. Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has been one of the biggest stories in the political world with his recent remarks that go against his party’s left-wing extremism earning raves from conservatives, and he weighed in on the Harvard controversy.

The prestigious Ivy League institution of higher learning that has produced generations of America’s leaders has been exposed as a cesspool of racism and antisemitism, tarnishing the school’s reputation and shocking its alumni, one of whom is the fashion-challenged Democrat.

In remarks during an interview with the outlet Semafor, Fetterman said that the Harvard of the modern era bears little resemblance to the university that he attended a quarter of a century ago before it became a festering nest of anti-white bigots and Jew haters under the leadership of its now former president Claudine Gay.

While discussing his steadfast support for Israel against the Hamas barbarians, a stance that has infuriated leftists who had previously sang his praises, Fetterman talked of the virulently racist term “colonizers” that has been used by progressives to dehumanize white people in recent years and is commonly invoked against the Jewish democracy.

Asked why he opposed the anti-Israel BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement, a form of organized economic terrorism that has spread like cancer on college campuses, Fetterman pinpointed TikTok and universities as the drivers of the explosion of antisemitism since the October 7, 2023 massacre of over a thousand Israelis by the Hamas terror organization.

“Because Israel is really a beacon of the kind of values, the American values and progressive ideals, that you want to see. In that region, it’s our strongest ally, and we have a very special kind of relationship. I don’t understand how anybody could vote against the Iron Dome, or want to harm Israeli businesses or the nation or anything,” Fetterman told Semafor.

“I’ll never understand that. Calling them ‘colonizers’ — like, where does this come from? It must be TikTok or some kind of obscure classroom talk. As an alum of Harvard — look, I graduated 25 years ago, and of course it was always a little pinko. But now, I don’t recognize it,” added the hulking former mayor of blue-collar Braddock, Pa., who has made a remarkable recovery from a debilitating stroke and clinical depression.

“Torturing, raping, mutilating women and girls, and recording all of this. Where does that come from? It’s not about proportionality. They shot their best shot that day, and they would have killed more if they had the ability to do that. I don’t imagine how you could expect anybody to negotiate with an organization that has done that. If you believe in peace, and in a two-state solution, you have to destroy Hamas, and you have to support Israel,” Fetterman also told the outlet, expressing the view that Hamas has to be destroyed for there to be peace in the region, not a popular one with the Democrat base.

“More and more of my colleagues are calling for it. It’s so strange. Why aren’t you calling for Hamas to surrender? If Hamas surrendered, and turned over their guns, all the killing and all the misery would,” he added of the demands for a ceasefire from his fellow Democrats, including members of “The Squad” and Comrade Bernie Sanders who are desperately trying to stop Israel before the terrorist entity has been completely eradicated.

Harvard is more than a “little pinko” today and faces an existential crisis with Gay’s replacement set to inherit a serious mess to clean up, or if some who are demanding another diversity hire get their way, make it even worse.
