Hecklers, including unhinged man in bonkers t-shirt booted from Trump rally

A Trump rally was briefly interrupted when a protester wearing a t-shirt reading “Kill Your Local Pedophile” was removed from the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in South Carolina on Friday.

President Donald J. Trump made the trip to the Palmetto State to urge his supporters to get out and vote for Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) in this week’s runoff election, which will determine whether the sister of the recently deceased Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) will be the GOP candidate on the ballot for the midterms.

Trump told the audience to get out and vote and to “pretend, please, that I’m on the ballot,” emphasizing the personal importance of the race to him.

“I’m going to be impeached. They’re gonna impeach me. They have no idea why,” he said before referencing a TV appearance by an unspecified Democrat vowing to impeach him if the party retakes the House.

He then paused briefly as the heckler clad in the black t-shirt with the bonkers slogan was removed from the audience.

After the protester was shown the door, Trump didn’t miss a beat, dusting off one of the classics from the vintage early MAGA days.

“That’s all right. That person’s going home to mom. Gonna get scolded because mom is voting for us. You know, mom is voting for us,” the president said as he returned to his speech.

Another protester was also ejected from the venue according to a White House pool report.

Video posted to X showed the protesters getting the boot.

Another video showed a troublemaker shouting and brandishing an upside-down American flag.

Graham was appointed by Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster – a Trump ally – to fill the seat for the rest of her late sibling’s term, which expires at the end of the year, and the president has repeatedly made it clear that he wants her to be elected to a full six-year term.

She is facing Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) in the runoff, which is the latest test of the power of Trump’s endorsement amid careening poll numbers.

The runoff will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
