‘Hey Clueless,’ Megyn Kelly answers troll who called leaked SCOTUS opinion a ‘political killer’ for GOP

Media personality Megyn Kelly, an attorney, responded to the report of the leaking of what appears to be an authentic draft opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito signaling that the Supreme Court has ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“The pathetic spineless leak of a draft SCOTUS opinion has the feel of something a sad little woke 20-something-year-old would do. The kind of person who thinks their personal agenda is ‘more important.’ Whoever did it should lose their law license,” Kelly tweeted.

She was far from alone in condemning the leak — perhaps the first in the high court’s history. George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley described it as a “breathtaking” breach of the “most fundamental obligations and traditions of the Court.”

Writing for the majority, Alito said: “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overturned. The constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely – the due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment…Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences.”

Kelly’s tweet prompted a snarky reply from Markos Moulitsas, who founded the hard-left Daily Kos website.

“Why aren’t they celebrating? They’re getting what they want! Yet they’re so pretend angry. In reality, they know this is a political killer, so they’re trying to deflect from substance to process. Otherwise, it would be unbridled celebration,” Moulitsas tweeted.

Not one to trifle with, Kelly was quick to inform the liberal zealot that she took exception to the unprecedent breach of trust, not the issue of abortion.

“Hey Clueless-I have never said how I feel about the abortion issue. Never. Go back & check. Idk who you think ‘they’ are but I am angry about this breach bc it’s unethical, needlessly shatters norms & faith in the 3d branch for political reasons & endangers the justices. Got it?”

While Kelly leans right, she is far from a dyed-in-the-wool conservative. Either way, her tweet was spot on and, as of this writing, we have to assume the cat has Moulitsas’ tongue because he has had nothing to say.
