It looks like Washington Post Technology columnist Taylor Lorenz has wiped her Twitter account (like, with a cloth or something.)
Thursday evening, Libs of TikTok noticed that Lorenz, who doxxed the right-wing account owner, had completely scrubbed every tweet she had ever made. Lorenz then locked down her Twitter account.

Maybe it has to do with Musk’s recent crackdown on releasing personal information on the social media platform, something Lorenz herself was against before she was for it.

Or perhaps it was just an excuse to wipe out her contradictory tweets, which critics claim are flat-out lies about her childhood:

As of Friday morning, the WaPo columnist had unlocked her account, promoting her other social media accounts and citing the fear that she may be banned from Twitter in the future as other “journalists” have been.

This seemingly out-of-the-blue nuking of her Twitter account with no real explanation as to why got a lot of people talking:

Easy to figure this one out. Can’t they at Twitter see it anyway?

People been pulling receipts on her recently and showing how she blatantly lies so that’s probably why she scrubbed
— ConMan (@ConEarl) December 16, 2022
Nothing is ever scrubbed these days, she’s afraid of something!

Lots of incriminating stuff I’m sure

She retconned her previous storyline. She can write her own all new Tay Tay fiction now.
