Honeymoon over? Even Yamiche Alcindor is calling out Harris for saying her ‘values haven’t changed’

An NBC News reporter’s response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ claim that her “values haven’t changed” suggested the honeymoon was already over.

“When you’ve lost Yamiche …”

Rampant bias throughout corporate media has seen outlets likened to Pravda and their “journalists” as little more than dutiful apparatchiks. After years of covering for President Joe Biden’s questionable faculties, Harris’ failings appeared to be a bridge too far from some, including NBC News’ Yamiche Alcindor.

Weeks after supplanting Biden as the Democratic Party nominee, Harris sat for her first interview in the role and claimed to CNN’s Dana Bash, “I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.”

While some would argue that to be true considering her campaign website had remained devoid of any stated positions, Alcindor flirted with framing the vice president as a flip-flopper when she wrote, “Harris keeps saying ‘my values haven’t changed’ while not explaining why her positions have changed.”

“Harris is also preparing how to describe shifting views on policy and stances such as fracking. A source told NBC News a way Harris might message on that would be to explain that her views have evolved since she got access to the presidential daily briefing and after having traveled extensively talking with everyday Americans for three years as vice president,” she further reported.

The coverage was seen as nothing short of amazing on social media as users accustomed to propaganda and gaslighting were left dumbstruck by the journalism.

Sharing Alcindor’s coverage, Tim Murtaugh, senior adviser to former President Donald Trump’s campaign wrote, “When you’ve lost Yamiche …”

He also suggested, “Dems are now wondering if Harris is actually an upgrade from Biden or not. The answer isn’t clear tonight. She was that bad. ‘My values haven’t changed, Sure, for years I said X and now I suddenly say Y, but TRUST ME, nothing has changed.’ 39 days to cook up that nonsense.”

In support of the point, Murtaugh shared an ad from the Trump campaign that featured the radical positions espoused by Harris that included gun-grabbing, defunding the police, banning fracking and even plastic straws, with the caption, “Congrats to whoever came up with the ‘my values haven’t changed’ line in the Harris camp. It’s a quote that I hope they really like because I wouldn’t be surprised if they hear it a lot in the days ahead.”

The campaign adviser was hardly alone in weighing in on what some dubbed Alcindor’s “first work of journalism” as the fact that corporate media was willing to point out a negative about a Democrat politician stood to emphasize how out of touch those pulling the strings were with their own cheerleaders.
