A video out of Sweden is making the rounds, encapsulating the consequences of restricting gun ownership and liberal policies that open the country up to mass immigration of people who are unlikely to assimilate into Swedish society.
Gun ownership is strictly regulated under Swedish laws with gun owners required to meet certain requirements and have a valid intention or purpose to own a gun, such as hunting.
In the footage, recorded in May, a 26-year-old Algerian migrant named Mohammed Amana is seen climbing a ladder up to the balcony of an apartment, according to Swedish news outlet Samnytt.
The migrant is reportedly upset that his girlfriend broke up with him and, after locating her at the apartment of a male friend, he scaled the ladder armed with a large kitchen knife. The male friend was recording events and after a weak attempt to stop Amana’s ascent, he ran into the apartment along with the female and shut the sliding glass door behind them. The rejected beau used a large rock to smash the glass door when he reached the balcony and entered the apartment with the knife visible in his hand.

After entering the residence, Amana is seen standing outside the locked bathroom door where his ex-girlfriend had taken refuge.
“Wallah, I will kill you; I swear on my mother,” he reportedly said, vowing to “open up” the woman and rape her mother.
Amana was sentenced to two years in prison and is expected to be deported with a ten-year ban on returning to Sweden, according to the news outlet — he had a previous deportation order that was never carried out.
