Hunter Biden brazenly attended state dinners as Rosemont Seneca chair, 2 more during federal investigation

Hunter Biden really knows no shame as is evident in a report that he arrogantly attended six state dinners… four while chairman of Rosemont Seneca and two while he was being federally investigated.

Rosemont Seneca is Hunter Biden’s now-defunct investment firm. His dealings during his time there are the subject of multiple ongoing investigations.

The hubris of Joe and Hunter Biden over their questionable business dealings is something to behold. The president has made no effort to distance himself from his son’s seedy ventures. He has had Hunter Biden attend state dinners, travel to public White House events including his high-profile trip to Ireland, and has made a point of having him stay at Camp David.

Just two days after a plea deal fell apart for Hunter Biden on June 20, he was seen schmoozing with the D.C. elite at a state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Modi at the White House.

That dinner took place over six months after Hunter Biden attended his father’s first state dinner at the White House for French President Emmanuel Macron on Dec. 1, 2022.

Hunter Biden was under federal investigation when both of those dinners took place.

When Joe Biden was vice president during the Obama administration, Hunter Biden was the founder and chairman of Rosemont Seneca Partners. During that time period, the now-first son attended four state dinners.

“Hunter attended Obama’s first state dinner Nov. 24, 2009, for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, five months after he co-founded his firm with Devon Archer and Chris Heinz,” Fox News reported. “Hunter later attended a state dinner for British Prime Minister David Cameron March 14, 2012.”

“Roughly two years later, Hunter attended a state dinner for French President François Hollande Feb. 11, 2014,” the media outlet reported.

“He attended Obama’s final state dinner more than two years later on Oct. 18, 2016, for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. During that dinner, Hunter was listed as representing his firm. ‘Mr. Hunter Biden, Chairman, Rosemont Seneca Advisors,’ the official guest list states,” Fox News noted.

During Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden was also invited to a number of State Department luncheons. Three of those were for China, where, at the time, Hunter was pursuing multiple business deals, according to previous reporting by Fox News.

Former President Obama held a state dinner for Mexican President Felipe Calderón on May 19, 2010. At that dinner was Hunter Biden’s Mexican business associate, Carlos Slim.

According to the New York Post, Hunter Biden and Slim were both invited to a State Department luncheon during Calderon’s visit. It was hosted by Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The following year, Obama held another state dinner. This time it was for Chinese President Hu Jintao on Jan. 19, 2011. Earlier in the day, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, his partner at the time, attended a State Department luncheon that his father held for the Chinese president.

“You are seated at the same table as a guy who looks like he is the #3 at the Embassy,” Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s money man, wrote to him in an email just before the luncheon on Jan. 19, 2011. “He’d be the guy to ask for Guardian. Looks like you, Devon, and Paul are all at the same table. Also Ron Klain and Markell at your table. All subject to change, per Carlos. Also, Ann Curry from Today, SB Woo and John Cooney.”

According to Fox News Digital, “Hunter used the same event as a networking opportunity to help one of his firm’s clients secure an event at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C.”

A now-infamous letter from then-Vice President Biden to Devon Archer a day after that luncheon with Hu thanked Archer for attending the event.

“I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday,” Biden wrote on Jan. 20, 2011. “I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu. I hope I get a chance to see you again soon with Hunter. I hope you enjoyed the lunch. Thanks for coming.”

“Happy you guys are together,” a handwritten note by Biden added.

Hunter Biden would go on to be invited to at least three more state luncheons. Two of them were for China and one was for India during Joe Biden’s vice presidency according to emails from the “laptop from hell.”

The Washington Times is also reporting that there are more than 1,000 emails showing the intermingled relationship between then-Vice President Biden and his son’s business dealings.

“A search of President Biden’s official email records from his time as vice president has uncovered more than 1,000 emails between his office and Rosemont Seneca Partners, the business development company owned by son Hunter Biden and an associate who helped rake in millions of dollars for Biden family members,” The Washington Times reported.

“The emails, released by America First Legal, show that Hunter Biden was closely involved in planning critical White House events. He never held an official government role while his father was vice president,” the outlet added.

“Among the events were the January 2011 China state luncheon, the June 2011 arrival ceremony for the German chancellor, the March 2012 Britain state dinner and visit, the May 2013 Turkey state luncheon, and the 2014 France state dinner, which Hunter Biden attended,” The Washington Times noted.
