Hunter Biden enlists Hollywood attorney to the stars for tax relief, tracking ‘laptop from hell’: report

In a bizarre move reminiscent of O.J. Simpson’s notorious “search” for his wife’s killer, Hunter Biden has reportedly enlisted the help of a high-powered Hollywood lawyer to conduct a “forensic analysis and investigation” into what happened to his infamous “laptop from hell” and how it was leaked to the public.

Attorney Kevin Morris has represented a string of Hollywood A-listers, including Matthew McConaughey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Chris Rock, and is responsible for negotiating a $900 million deal for the creators of “South Park” with MTV Entertainment Studios, but he has now turned his attention to creating a “legal and media” strategy for the scandal-ridden first son, going so far as to pay Biden’s delinquent tax debts, sources have told CBS News.

According to a source at the New York Post, the bill set Morris — whom the source says is known as Biden’s “sugar brother” — back more than $2 million.

A Democratic source in Washington told CBS that Morris, who won a coveted Tony Award as co-producer of the hit “Book of Mormon” musical, is working on a documentary about Biden’s chaotic life.

Hunter Biden has long been under a federal investigation in Delaware for his questionable finances. As part of the criminal tax probe, the lawyer representing Biden’s baby mama turned over to investigators “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records,” BizPac Review reported in March.

Based on the 10 gigs of data attorney Clint Lancaster provided investigators, the lawyer felt Biden would likely be facing an indictment.

“I expect him to be indicted,” Lancaster said at the time. “Just based on what I saw in his financial records, I would be surprised if he’s not indicted.”

“They wanted every record relating to Hunter Biden we had,” Lancaster stated.

CBS was unable to reach Biden for comment, but his criminal attorney, Christopher Clark, confirmed that Morris is Biden’s “attorney and trusted advisor.”

While the network called the move by Morris to join a political fight “unusual,” Fox News reports that Morris has, since 2007, contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and super PACS.

Among Morris’s many personal donations is a 2019 contribution to Biden For President in the amount of $2,800 and a $10,000 contribution in 2020 to the also scandal-ridden Lincoln Project.

According to The Post, Morris is also funding Biden’s luxurious Los Angeles lifestyle, including bankrolling the 52-year-old’s rent and living expenses, which, considering Biden’s proclivities, could mean just about anything.

Additionally, says The Post’s source, Morris “has also been advising the president’s son on how to structure his art sales.”

Now that Morris has settled Biden’s tax bills, The Post noted, prosecutors may face a more difficult time convicting Biden and receiving a “lengthy” sentence should he be found guilty of defrauding the Internal Revenue Service.

“Tax prosecutors would typically argue that paying an overdue balance wouldn’t affect a fraud case because the evasion sill occurred,” the newspaper explained. “However, a judge and jury may be more sympathetic toward someone who eventually paid their bill.”
