Hunter Biden lawyers demand action against MTG in letter to House Ethics Committee

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) clapped back after Hunter Biden’s attorneys sent a letter to the House Ethics Committee on Monday laughably demanding an ethics probe be conducted against the congresswoman over her “unhinged rhetoric” made in connection to the president’s disgraced son.

The letter contends that Hunter Biden has been the victim of “continuous verbal attacks, defamatory statements, publication of personal photos and data, and promotion of conspiracy theories” by Greene, according to Politico.

“As outlined below, her public statements and related efforts on Twitter, Truth Social, Facebook, and during public appearances attacking Mr. Biden sound and read like school-yard insults rather than the work of a Member of Congress, and they fail to uphold the integrity and dignity expected of members of the House of Representatives,” the letter written by attorney Abbe David Lowell accused.

“None of these could possibly be deemed to be part of any legitimate legislative activity, as is clear from both the content of her statements and actions and the forums she uses to spew her often unhinged rhetoric,” he said.

The letter refers to tweets from Greene that claim Hunter Biden is for all intents and purposes participating in human trafficking and the solicitation of prostitutes.

Not only are these statements false, defamatory, and malicious, but they are undignified from a Member of Congress and far beyond anything close to genuine legislative activities or political advocacy,” the letter goes on to assert.

Greene alleged on CBS’ “60 Minutes” this month that both the Democratic Party and Joe Biden support pedophilia. The letter prominently mentions those comments.

“Democrats support — even Joe Biden, the president himself, supports children being sexualized and having transgender surgeries. Sexualizing children is what pedophiles do to children,” Greene told “60 Minutes.”

“How can there be a serious question that such comments do not reflect creditably upon the House of Representatives and its Democratic members?” the letter asked.

The letter goes into Greene posting a photo of Hunter Biden and his niece and her cousin in a convertible with the caption, “Hunter was on crack wheeling & dealing with CCP ties and prostitutes with classified documents laying around in the garage.”

The attorneys are calling for punishment to be meted out against Greene for her alleged ethics violation. They claim there is a “strong precedent” to take action against her.

“Perhaps Representative Greene is beyond conducting herself properly. Many have so concluded. However, the House has a duty to make loud and clear that it does not endorse, condone, or agree with her outrageous, undignified rhetoric and brazen violations of the standards of official conduct that do not reflect creditably on the House of Representatives,” the letter hypocritically concluded.

Following Greene finding out about the letter, she torched Hunter Biden on Twitter, “Hunter is upset over my statements. Well Hunter, the entire country is pissed off about your obvious influence peddling with your Daddy’s political power. Come chat with us Republicans on the Oversight Committee. We have a lot of questions.”
