Hunter Biden’s top deputy at Rosemont Seneca set to testify in January

The president of Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, will testify in a closed hearing before the House Oversight Committee in January.

As BizPac Review reported, Eric Schwerin, considered one of Hunter’s closest business buddies, received 327 emails from then-Vice President Joe Biden, who used a variety of pseudonyms to hide his identity, including “robinware456,” “JRBware” and “RobertLPeters.”

Described as the architect of the Biden family’s “various shell companies that launder money around the world” by the House Ways and Means Committee, Schwerin, 54, “was intimately involved with the personal finances of both Hunter Biden and his father, President Biden,” according to the New York Post.

After months of negotiations between Hunter’s former business partner and the House Oversight Committee, Schwerin was slapped with a subpoena to appear on November 9, 2023.

In their subpoena letter to Schwerin’s attorney, William Farah, the panel stated, “Mr. Schwerin worked closely with the Biden family members, Biden associates, and Biden corporate entities that the committees have identified as transferring millions of dollars to the Bidens, often from foreign sources,” including “access to bank accounts,” The Post reports.

“The closed-door nature of the hearing suggests the deposition will follow a similar format to Devon Archer, another Hunter Biden business partner who spoke to the committee in July,” the outlet notes.

As an information security consultant, Jim Hanson has studied Hunter’s laptop from hell, which contained the communications in question.

He believes Schwerin’s testimony could be a Biden bombshell.

“He was the go-between between Hunter’s business and Joe’s cash pots. He set up the shell companies. He was the one doing the cash transfers. He knows what money went where,” Hanson said of Schwerin. “If there is a smoking gun, he buried it.”

According to The Post, “It is unclear what exactly Schwerin will say, but it is almost certain that members will seek answers to disclosures this week from the House Ways and Means Committee that Joe Biden used email pseudonyms to communicate covertly with family members — and Schwerin — between 2011 and 2019.”

Of the 327 emails that VP Biden sent or was party to, “54 were exclusively between Joe Biden and Schwerin,” The Post reports.

Schwerin visited the White House at least 27 times during Biden’s tenure as vice president, including a Nov. 17, 2010, meeting with Biden in the West Wing.

Jill Biden’s former special assistant, Margaret Campbell, told The Post in April 2022 that Schwerin “did financial stuff for the family,” adding, “but that’s really all I know.”

“Stuff” including then-Vice President Biden’s Delaware tax refund check, the emails revealed.

Appearing before the Oversight Committee in March, Schwerin, according to committee Democrats at the time, claimed “he was not aware of any involvement by President Biden in the financial conduct of the President’s relatives’ businesses.”

“Republicans, however, disputed that characterization,” The Post reports. “His appearance in January will be his first transcribed interview.”

On Dec. 6, President Biden again denied having any involvement with Hunter’s foreign business associates.

“It’s just a bunch of lies,” the president insisted.
