‘I accept’: Trump shares ‘Swifties for Trump’ post as rumors about liberal Taylor Swift swirl

Former President Donald J. Trump seemed to suggest that he had a chance of landing the most coveted endorsement of them all, from pop music superstar Taylor Swift.

With the NFL season only weeks away from kicking off, the world’s most high-profile Kansas City Chiefs fan will once again dominate media coverage as she has done since hooking up with boorish tight end Travis Kelce, and she will be a decisive factor in the upcoming election if she chooses to do so.

In a Sunday post to Truth Social, the Republican nominee shared images of several “Swifties” along with an AI-generated pic of the singer along with the cryptic message “I accept!” which could be interpreted as meaning that he has landed the support of Swift and her legion of adoring fans who follow her with cult-like devotion.

The 34-year-old diva has yet to weigh in with an endorsement but it probably is unlikely that if she did it would be for Trump who she has been critical of in the past.

In a 2019 interview with The Guardian, Swift said that she was “blindsided” in 2016 when Trump sprung the upset of the century against heavily favored Hillary Clinton.

“The things that happen to you in your life are what develop your political opinions,” Swift told the outlet. “I was living in this Obama eight-year paradise of, you go, you cast your vote, the person you vote for wins, everyone’s happy! This whole thing, the last three, four years, it completely blindsided a lot of us, me included.”

Swift also accused Trump of “stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism” in a Twitter post at the onset of the George Floyd race riots during which Minnesota Governor Tim Walz allowed criminals to loot and burn for days in his state’s biggest city.

“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump,” Swift vowed.

Whether she’s had a change of heart after an ISIS-linked teen’s terrorist threat forced her to cancel three concerts in Vienna this month is unclear, but unlike Kamala Harris who has sided with Hamas, Trump is the candidate who is tough on terrorism.

Meanwhile, rumors are swirling that Swift could make a surprise appearance at the Democratic National Convention this week where Harris will be formally coronated after she was installed as nominee by a Nancy Pelosi-Barack Obama-led coup that ousted Joe Biden.

There is also a @Swifties4Kamala X account that is stumping for the DEI darling.

“She’s got a great star quality, she really does,” Trump reportedly told Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh whose book titled “Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass” came out in June.

“I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!” Trump said, according to the author.
