‘I want ISIS to kill all of you!’ CAIR disavows ‘hateful bigot’ after Jewish man attacked in NYC

CAIR disavowed connections after a raving woman was deemed a “hateful bigot” for allegedly harassing Jewish men in a Gotham lobby.

“I demand jihad. I want ISIS to kill all of you.”

Since the horrific tragedy that was the Oct. 7 terrorist attack committed against Israel by Hamas, New York City remained a hotbed of antisemitism, including rampant campus protests and street takeovers by sympathizers. Yet another example of the virulent display went viral Thursday when a woman identified as Noora Shalash was stopped in a Midtown Manhattan building seemingly targeting a man for being a Hasidic Jew.

“F*ck the Jew,” the woman was heard saying in the video taken by attorney Seth Bell, himself a Jew who confronted Shalash over her alleged treatment of the Hasidic man.

Speaking with the New York Post, Bell explained, “As I got closer, I heard the word ‘Jew’ being thrown around, and ‘genocide’ and ‘Israel’ and ‘Palestine,’ and I just knew immediately.”

“She was equating some random Jewish guy with what was going on in the Middle East, which is classic antisemitism,” he told the newspaper as the video showed her pursuing the Hasidic man into an elevator when she was confronted only to step out again when the man tried to get away from her.

It was then that she began cursing at the camera in a different language before appearing to take a swipe at Bell’s phone. When she was held back by security, she was seen to be kicking in the man’s direction, asking what he was going to do to which the man replied, “I’m going to do nothing. I’m going to act like a civilized human being…I’m going to film you.”

“You just are a hateful bigot,” he added.

When she sat down on the floor of the elevator and screamed invectives that included: “I demand jihad. I want ISIS to kill all of you,” “I love J****,” “I am conspiring with Hamas, Palestinian jihad and ISIS, I am conspiring with them,” and “We are the real children of Jacob, not you!”

“This is what Jews in New York City have to deal with,” Bell was heard saying.

After the video had gone viral, the woman had been identified by the Jew Hate Database as Jordanian-born Shalash, raised in Lexington, Kentucky, and former director of government affairs for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The account highlighted a history of “Documented antisemitic and hateful remarks, including support for Hamas violence and comments calling Jews ‘perverted’ and blaming Zionists for her struggles,” before noting the woman “may need mental health support.”

As some suggested her involvement with CAIR, once known as the Islamic Association for Palestine and branded a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates in 2014, was ongoing, the X account for CAIR National refuted such a claim and posted, “This is a lie. This person has not worked with our CAIR-KY chapter in five years. We condemn and reject the antisemitic comments in the video, just as we condemn and reject anti-Palestinian racism and anti-Muslim hate. Racism is wrong, no matter the source or the target.”

Meanwhile, the NYPD had been summoned to the scene before taking Shalash away in cuffs, reportedly to be evaluated at Bellevue Hospital with the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force investigating the possibility of charges including assault.

Bell told the Post, “I’m just sick and tired of people getting to say what they want and do what they want and we just have to, the Jews just have to take it.”
