Ibram X. Kendi’s antiracist research center shutting down as era of CRT grifting nears end

Few racial grievance charlatans have reached the level of Ibram X. Kendi but now that the disgraceful era of Critical Race Theory that he helped to spawn is coming to an end, a high-profile grifting operation that he founded is being shuttered.

Like a parasite leaping to a new host, Kendi will soon be leaving Boston University where he has spent years as the head of the Center for Antiracist Research (CAR) which was birthed in 2020 out of the anti-white discrimination gold rush over the death of career criminal and drug addict George Floyd who was turned into a martyr figure after he perished while resisting arrest in Minneapolis, MN.

Kendi – whose real name is Ibram Henry Rogers – will be moving on to Howard University, a historically black college and university (HBCU) based in Washington, D.C. where he will head up Howard University Institute for Advanced Study, the institution announced.

With DEI and CRT now in full retreat and being cleansed from government and many corporations that unwisely implemented the racist policies, the celebrated author is looking to cash in on another grift now that the un-American ideology that he was instrumental in promoting has become toxic.

In his 2019 manifesto “How to Be An Antiracist,” Kendi preached that taking revenge on white folks was a remedy for perceived racism against blacks and along with fellow con artist Robin DiAngelo was at the pinnacle of the once lucrative anti-white discrimination industry that for a time was the dominant ideology in America but was being rolled back even before the election of President Donald J. Trump who is in the process of ripping out the roots of racist DEI from the federal government and salting the earth to prevent it from sprouting again.

“The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination,” Kendi wrote in his call for institutionalized reprisals against whitey that was embraced by much of Corporate America, academia, and championed at the highest levels of government by the Joe Biden administration.

With Kendi taking his racialist scams south, Boston University announced that it would be closing down the Center for Antiracist Research that its already downsized staff of 12 people will continue to be employed through June 30.

“Ibram X. Kendi, the founding director of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research (CAR), says he has decided to leave BU to join Howard University in Washington, DC. CAR will close when its charter with the University expires on June 30,” read a statement on the school’s website. “BU says the center’s 12 current staff members will remain employed through June 30 and are receiving resources and support to assist with their transitions.”

The CAR has had its share of troubles since Kendi’s lofty founding statement that invoked civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. who famously said that his dream was a nation in which people would be “judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” a guiding philosophy that was missing from the racist CRT/DEI that cloaked itself in his righteous name.

Soon it will be no more.

“Despite all the headwinds we faced as a new organization founded during the pandemic and the intense backlash over critical race theory, I am very proud of all we envisioned, all we created, all we learned, all we achieved—the community we built, the people we helped and inspired,” Kendi said in a statement posted by BU.

“Dr. Kendi is going to help us bring in the best minds from different fields to help advance research and bring solutions to the global community,” Howard Provost Anthony K. Wutoh said. “It’s great for our students, to expose them to one of the great thinkers of our time.”
