Illegal immigrant says NYC has provided him free housing, food for SEVEN months

Social media was shocked after a young muckraker’s candid chat with illegal aliens highlighted the extent to which taxpayers are footing freebies.

Denial and deflection have remained go-to tactics from Democratic politicians and President Joe Biden’s recent remarks attempting to distance himself from the southern border crisis were no different. While the gaslighting persisted, video journalist Nick Shirley questioned illegals in New York City drawing a sharp distinction between how the government was treating its own citizens.

Sharing clips of a more than 24 minute video across social media, one segment showed Shirley standing near the Roosevelt Hotel, one of a number of cushy locations where NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) had been housing illegals since Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) had forced the issue into corporate media’s focus with his busing plan.

“Are you living here at the Roosevelt hotel?…And what is it like?” Shirley’s translation of his interview with one man began with the response, “It has been good, the experience has been good and they have really helped us.”

When asked about the help received there, the alien said, “Yes they help, they take care of the baby. And us too,” and that workers, “Take care of the people.”

“And are you receiving meals?…Do they give you food?” prompted the journalist.

To that the illegal answered, “Yes, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

As the conversation continued, Shirley wondered at how long the man had been in the United States receiving three square meals a day, rent free in a NYC hotel at the taxpayer’s expense. “Seven months. But now shortly I have to go because I already have an order to leave.”

For clarity’s sake, the man was asked if his accommodations had been free to which he said, “With the help of the government — from the New York government.”

The video prompted a flood of infuriated responses across platforms, particularly on X where many vented about the lack of care for veterans and disaster victims in America that had been readily dismissed by corporate media for not helping advance their narrative.

“Illegal living free in NYC for 7 months & meals included. Now go interview…Maui fire victims and homeless vets and see how the govt treats them?” wrote one user as another added, “Our Representatives do nothing for the American people! They just take our money and call themselves our representatives.”

Further fanning the flames of discontent, while Brooklyn high schoolers were kicked out of their classrooms to prioritize those spaces for housing aliens, a point New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) had attempted to dismiss because “It’s not in my district,” Biden audaciously declared there was no crisis.

When asked if he would “call the situation on the southern border a crisis” he responded “No” before insisting that it was up to Republicans to work with him on the border.
