Iowa plans trigger talk of Tucker Carlson running for president; Left’s bad week gets worse

The left in America is already having a really bad week with the Elon Musk-inspired threat of free speech breaking out on Twitter and now they must contend with talk of Tucker Carlson running for president — crazy talk, more than likely, but even the mere speculation of such an occurrence could prove to be for some the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.

The top-rated Fox News host is set to headline the 2022 FAMiLY Leadership Summit in Des Moines, Iowa this July, which is all that’s needed to raise eyebrows given the state’s exalted place as first in the nation when it comes to presidential primaries.

The FAMiLY Leader is a pro-family, pro-marriage, pro-life organization that featured former Vice President Mike Pence, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) at its 2021 summit.

“Tucker Carlson heading to Iowa, home of the presidential caucuses, this summer. This particular group’s gathering has long been an event attended by Republicans with presidential ambitions,”  CBS News’ Robert Costa tweeted.

Now, there was the occasional voice of reason reminding all that Carlson is in a rather enviable position right now at Fox News and is not likely to abandon his comfortable perch anytime soon for what would certainly amount to little more than a pipe dream.

At the same time, he may be the one person in America who may rival Donald Trump when it comes to enflaming the media.

Nonetheless, the news had the already whipped up left in a further lather, as seen here:
