An irate McDonald’s customer was caught on video as she flung a cup of piping hot coffee at a manager, a violent reaction to her dissatisfaction over how an online order was being handled.
In the video, which has gone viral on social media, the woman is seen as she berates the manager at the iconic fast food chain’s outlet in Saginaw on Tuesday morning, apparently outraged over having to wait more than an hour for an order placed through the app for two sandwiches and demanding a refund.
The customer, who police have identified as 48-year-old Casharra Brown, is seen at the counter arguing with the Mickey D’s employee, becoming angrier over not getting her way as the manager tried to calm her down.

The confrontation ended with Brown removing the lid from the cup of java and hurling it at the female manager, who screamed in pain as she was splashed by the scalding hot liquid.
“F**k you, b*tch,” Brown hollered as she threw the beverage after repeatedly accusing the manager of being a liar. “Catch that hot-a** coffee!”
The unidentified manager suffered minor burns but did not require hospitalization.
Brown reportedly failed to provide her name and payment information when she submitted the order, and completely lost it over having to wait.
Buena Vista Township Police responded to a 911 call after the assault at 3700 Dixie Highway and posted the video to social media, where it drew attention, as well as responses from more than a hundred people.
“I must have gotten about 100 tips,” Buena Vista Township Police Detective Russ Pahssen said, according to MLive. “Within about two minutes, we had her identified.”
X users reacted to the video.
I can promise no McDonald’s manager makes enough to deal with this type of person.
Coffee is held at 180-190 degrees btw. Throw her in prison!

This is beyond unacceptable. No one deserves to be attacked, especially over food delays that are often out of the staff’s control. But honestly, if you think throwing scalding coffee is how you get your refund, you’ve lost all sense of basic decency. People need to learn that…

Y’all know what would have been said if the two people in this incident were reversed, right?
And because it’s now occurred to you, that’s how you know I’m right.

How did this behavior get normalized? She had to take the lid off the coffee first to do this. And look at the face of the customer at the next register. Like it’s just a normal thing to happen. Wow.

Obscene. But very soon, the criminal will be transformed into the victim, and the victim will be forgotten by the “justice” system.

Hopefully she got in hot water!

A warrant has been issued for Brown’s arrest, but she has so far been able to elude capture.
