Biggest scandal ever? Source points to former Capital Police officer as forensic match for J6 pipe bomber

A report indicates a potential identity match for the January 6 pipe-bomb suspect.

While the federal government acted swiftly to round up and prosecute those accused of participating in the riot at the U.S. Capitol, it seemingly dragged its feet on figuring out the identity of the suspect behind several pipe bombs found on that day. But an independent investigation appears to have pegged a potential forensic match for the person captured on video, according to The Blaze.

“A source close to a congressional investigation of Jan. 6 additionally told Blaze News evidence has emerged recently that pointed toward law enforcement possibly being involved in the planting of the pipe bombs,” the outlet reported.

It went on to explain the software used to analyze the walking pattern of the suspect, as well as give the name of the woman they believe to be involved.

“A software algorithm that analyzes walking parameters including flexion (knee bend), hip extension, speed, step length, cadence, and variance rated Shauni Rae Kerkhoff, 31, of Alexandria, Va., as a 94% match to the bomb suspect shown on video from Jan. 5, 2021. The veteran analyst who ran the analysis for Blaze News said that based on visual observations the program can struggle with, he personally pegged the match at closer to 98%,” the article reads.

A source reportedly revealed to the outlet that Kerkhoff had left the Capitol Police in 2021 after four years of service. She went on to join the CIA, where she “reportedly serves on dignitary protection teams for officials including CIA Director John Ratcliffe and others.”

Former FBI Special Agent Kyle Seraphin realized Friday that he was doing surveillance next door to the woman now suspected of being the Jan. 6 pipe bomber.

“The FBI put us one door away from the pipe bomber within days of January 6, and we were deliberately pulled away for no logical or logically investigative reason,” Seraphin told Blaze News Friday. “And everything about that tells me that they were involved in a cover-up and have been since day one.

“They were f**king in on it,” Seraphin said.

He suggested interviewing a man believed to have picked up the suspect on Jan. 6, but he was denied, and his team pulled off the case shortly after. For Seraphin, this news means “vindication.”

“There’s a personal reaction to it, which is the complete vindication that the things I’ve been saying and my recollection of being briefed on this stuff has been accurate for years and I’ve never changed my tune,” he told The Blaze.

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund denied having any knowledge of an officer being involved in the pipe bomb plot and said he is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the investigation.

“I had no knowledge that it was being carried out, nor were they carrying it out with any authorization from the chief’s office,” he told the outlet. “I’m unaware of any legitimate reason that any Capitol Police or other law enforcement officer would be involved in the planting of those pipe bombs.”
