Israel’s continued use of civilized tactics in response to terrorist attacks was treated as a sign “IDF is weak” as others framed them as monsters.

As the death toll rose higher throughout the day Saturday with hundreds counted among the wounded after Hamas terrorists struck southern Israel from the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces began retaliating following a declaration of war.
An example of the IDF’s response was captured on film by Al Jazeera as their reporter Youmna El-Sayed, broadcasting on location, was interrupted by a “roof knock” in the background.
With an explosion detonating over her left shoulder, El-Sayed unleashed a scream as she ducked out of the frame and sought cover. “This is a missile attack on Palestine tower right in the middle of Gaza City,” she explained before the in-studio anchor said, “We have just witnessed live what an Israeli air raid looks like on a populated area of Gaza City — what we believe is a residential building.”
The propagandist coverage of the preliminary strike, meant to alert any civilians that could be inside to evacuate the space co-occupied by Hamas, disregarded the humanitarian approach to retaliation that Israel had undertaken.
Meanwhile, others criticized the continued practice of roof knocks given the manner in which the terrorist attack against Israel had targeted civilians with dozens reportedly taken hostage by militant forces.
“Roof knocks in this situation shows that the IDF is weak,” said one as another remarked, “After today’s incident no need for roof knock…. Use high grade explosives and level them.”
“Still ‘roof knock’….” an incredulous user posted. “Man they got patience… Golda Meir would have turned that strip of ghaza into an abysmal hole till now….”

Why do they conduct even roof knocks…should strike directly without any warning

They have to stop doing this. Just take it down and be done with it.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had released a statement of intent following the terrorist attack asserting, “Hamas wants to murder us all. This is an enemy that murders children and mothers in their homes, in their beds, an enemy that abducts the elderly, children and young women, that slaughters and massacres our citizens, including children, who simply went out to enjoy the holiday.”
He went on to promise “The IDF will immediately use all its strength to destroy Hamas’s capabilities. We will destroy them and we will forcefully avenge this dark day that they have forced on the State of Israel and its citizens.”
“All of the places which Hamas is deployed, hiding and operating in, that wicked city, we will turn them into rubble. I say to the residents of Gaza: Leave now because we will operate forcefully everywhere,” added Netanyahu.
Still others called for the prime minister to more fully back his words with deeds as the destruction of evacuated buildings would not decimate Hamas. “Israel is leveling empty buildings. Hamas sits. back and cracks up at this stupid, half-measure. Either reduce the Gaza Strip to [rubble] (no roof knocks or phone calls) or this Palestinian savagery will continue.”

All of Gaza should be rubble. Every last building.
