Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. went viral after tweets showing him bench pressing and doing pushups were posted as he declared that he was prepping for his debates with President Bidenm and the contrast between the two couldn’t be starker.
Kennedy is 69 and in peak condition. President Biden is 80 and has trouble with stairs, remembering where he is, getting into his coat, speaking, etc. The optics are glaring between the two candidates.
The video was taken outside the legendary Gold’s Gym, dubbed “the Mecca of bodybuilding,” in Venice Beach as RFK Jr. called for debates with Biden who so far, is not even acknowledging that Kennedy is a competitor for the nomination.
A user tweeted out the Gold’s Gym video with the quote from Kennedy, “But you have to follow your heart. Believe that you have a unique group of talents and abilities that are going to allow you to accomplish something in an area that interests you. Work at that and try to make some kind of contribution to your community.”
The pushup video that RFK Jr. tweeted was captioned, “Getting in shape for my debates with President Biden!”
This was his last dropset at 50% of his max for today… I joined just to spot his last set.
He’s the greatest Presidential Champion in history. By far.
Solid human being and leader.

Bro math: Assume RFK Jr. did 230×3 at RPE 10. That’s an e1RM of 250. Incline is ~20% weaker than regular bench, so his bench e1RM is ~315.
RFK could be the first president to bench 3 plates while in office. https://t.co/3lJ4PxMWJf

Kennedy has repeatedly said he wants to debate Biden, and the Democratic Party as well as the White House have made it obvious they are ignoring him even though he poses a growing threat to the president’s run in 2024. A Trafalgar Group survey showed that 57.5 percent of Democrats surveyed think Biden should debate Kennedy.
Kennedy’s video surfaces as an NBC News poll shows 68 percent have major or moderate concerns with Biden’s mental and physical health related to his job as president. Only 32 percent have minor or no real concerns related to his health.
“As President, I will restore America as the global example of health & well-being. Not through pills or syringes, but through character and self-discipline. And I will continue to walk the walk and lead by example. #Kennedy24,” RFK Jr. tweeted.
“Americans gained an average of 29 pounds during the Covid lockdowns. I will help turn this around by encouraging our citizens to exercise, eat well, and fortify their immune systems by removing harmful chemicals from our food,” he continued.

“Conversely, we must never allow ourselves to succumb to fear. Fear disables both the immune system and the capacity for critical thought which is key to the survival of democracy. We will restore our health as we reunite our communities and rebuild our nation,” he noted.

“So start doing your morning calisthenics everybody. Get yourself in shape for a Kennedy Presidency!” he advised in another tweet. “And yes, I can do more than 10 pushups. That was my last set.”

Kennedy’s viral videos follow CNN anchor Jake Tapper accusing him in a column of telling a “wild and false” story about an interaction they had back in 2005. Those comments by RFK Jr. were made during an appearance on a podcast hosted by Jordan Peterson on June 5, 2023, and were part of a discussion on the media and Big Pharma.
What do you think … Should social media platforms censor presidential candidates? My conversation with @JordanBPeterson was deleted by @YouTube. Luckily you can watch it here on @Twitter (thank you @elonmusk). #Kennedy24https://t.co/PJFKWH6zmd

Kennedy claimed he worked with Tapper for three weeks, who was at ABC News at the time, on a documentary critical of vaccines that was suddenly nixed with no explanation. He says that Tapper notified him over the phone that the “documentary” was going to be killed by “corporate.”
Tapper claims he did not collaborate with Kennedy. That he merely interviewed him over the phone for the segment which was not canceled.
“RFK Jr. has made so many false and wild claims about any number of vital topics,” Tapper asserted in the column that was published on June 22, before claiming he is “untethered from the facts.”
Tapper stated that their interview occurred as Kennedy co-published a piece in 2005 with Rolling Stone magazine and Salon.com. In that piece, Kennedy contended there was a connection between certain vaccines that contained mercury and autism. Since then, both publications have retracted the piece over what they call factual inaccuracies.

The CNN anchor claims that the segment was delayed by a day so he could interview other experts, but that it did air on June 22, 2005.
“Now in his retelling, a two-minute piece was an ‘incredible documentary,’ a few days of work was three weeks, one remote interview was me working intensely with him, and a piece that got delayed one day so we could interview some actual experts is a piece that got killed,” Tapper wrote.
He made similar assertions on “Pod Save America” last week.

“[Kennedy] spreads dangerous misinformation about childhood vaccines,” Tapper stated, before announcing he would not host Kennedy for a town hall on CNN. “He was so dishonest in that experience and since then he lies about the experience frequently.”
“The medical community overwhelmingly disagrees with Kennedy, who is not a scientist or a doctor. They point out that autism rates are not decreasing, even though thimerosal has been removed from most childhood vaccines as a precaution,” he added.
At the end of his CNN column, Tapper charged, “We did the fact-checking for our piece that RFK Jr. didn’t do himself,” and added, “And he remains someone you cannot rely upon for facts, truth or accuracy.”
The Peterson podcast was censored and deleted on YouTube and RFK Jr. is now transitioning to Rumble over it.

RFK Jr. is way too jacked for the gulag.
One of the RFK pages used my song in the background. Definitely fits! Good luck making America work out more & educate themselves on Big Pharma corruption.

Disagree with this guy on most vaccine issues, but find him a solid honest candidate

I am a conservative but I support this message fully.
It is a matter of personal and national security to stay as healthy as possible.
The cost of preventable illness and injury is astronomical.

He challenged everyone he saw to a push up contest in 2020. He might want to skip that challenge with you.
