As Texas Governor Greg Abbott continues to bus illegal migrants from the Lone Star State to the Big Apple, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) has a few pointed words for New York City’s frazzled Mayor Eric Adams: “Address the root cause.”

As American Wire reported, Mayor Adams hasn’t handled the influx of approximately 4,000 migrants who have arrived in his city since May very well, despite his having proudly proclaimed New York a sanctuary city.
For perspective, Texas has an average of 4,000 migrants scrambling over its border with Mexico every single day, according to Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin, and the state has, so far, sent less than 100 of them to New York.
Just for perspective…NYC Mayor Eric Adams is calling for federal help because he says around 4,000 migrants have arrived in NYC in last 3 months since May.

Still, Adams wants revenge against Abbott for daring to challenge the mayor’s virtuous signals with actual illegal immigrants.
“I already called all of my friends in Texas and told them how to cast their vote. And I am deeply contemplating taking a busload of New Yorkers to go to Texas and do some good old-fashioned door knocking. Because for the good of America, we have to get him out of office,” Adams stated during a press briefing Tuesday.
But it’s far easier to throw a tantrum than it is to actually do something about the problem — especially, says Rep. Jackson, when the problem is “in the Oval Office.”
“It’s absolutely comical,” Jackson told Fox’s “One Nation” host Brian Kilmeade. “I mean, if this guy wants to address the issue, he needs to go and do what Kamala Harris said she was going to do at the very beginning: Address the root cause. The root cause is right down the hall from where she sits in the White House. It’s in the Oval Office.”
“That’s where the root cause is,” he continued. “But this is crazy. He’s upset because he’s had several thousand people that have shown up in New York City.”
“Brian, we get over 6,000 a day that we know of and we get umpteen zillion more that we can’t even track,” Jackson said, topping Melugin’s estimate by 2,000 people. “Texas has been bearing the burden of this for so long. We are going broke in the state of Texas, trying to take care of the federal government’s job.”
In July, the so-called “Border Czar” who insisted we must get to the “root causes” of immigration while the border remains wide open, Vice President Kamala Harris, doubled down on doing nothing in response to the border crisis and accused Gov. Abbott of “flame throwing.”

“I would suggest that so-called leaders focus on solutions instead of attacks if they really are concerned about a problem, and that includes on the issue of immigration,” Harris stated on CBS News’ “Face the Nation.”
“So that we can have a humane and appropriate approach to this issue, including of course, what we will continue to do in terms of prioritizing border security, but understanding we also need to create a pathway,” she continued. “And that’s where I think everyone should be focused if they’re actually concerned about solutions, instead of flame throwing.”
