Leftist radical Rep. Jasmine Crockett has reportedly spent nearly $75,000 of taxpayer money living the high life this year.
Federal Election Commission filings reviewed by Fox News show she’s spent oodles on “luxury hotel and transportation expenses” while visiting Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, among others.
Of the total $75,000 that was spent, $25,000 went toward just hotels and limos.
“The hotel expenses include $4,175.01 at the Ritz-Carlton and $2,304.79 at The Luxury Collection,” Fox News notes. “Other hotel expenses include $5,326.52 to the West Hollywood Edition in Los Angeles, $1,173.92 to the Times Square Edition in New York City, over $2,000 to the Cosmopolitan and Aria resort in Las Vegas, and $2,703.14 to the Edgartown Inn and $3,160.93 at The Coco, both in Martha’s Vineyard.”
The limo expenses included $2,728.00 for the Chicago-based Transportation 4 U service, $2,310.30 for the D.C.-based DCA Car LLC, and $1,254.00 for the San Francisco-based Bay Area Limousine.
The rest of the $75,000 went toward security/police expenses, and this despite Crockett having been a “defund the police” advocate.
“The Defund movement seeks to actually bring about healing and finally invest in our communities to make them safer, addressing the root causes of crime and by allowing the professionals to do their respective jobs,” she reportedly said in 2021.
“Defund is about finally being smart on crime. Defund is about lightening the load for our offices of all things they didn’t sign up for. Defund is about finally being fiscally responsible when it comes to policing in this state,” she added.
According to a separate report from the Washington Free Beacon, Crockett also boasts a secret stock portfolio that she hasn’t properly disclosed.

She owned shares in at least 25 stocks that she never disclosed to the public during her first run for Congress in 2022.
“Crockett also didn’t reveal the stock holdings once she got to Washington in 2023,” according to the Beacon.
Why not? Perhaps because her stock picks in major pharmaceutical, fossil fuel, technology, automobile, and marijuana firms conflict with her image as a so-called “progressive” and show her to be a hypocrite.
For example, although the congresswoman has repeatedly whined about climate change being an “existential crisis,” she owns ExxonMobil stock.
Moreover, during her time as an attorney, she sought “to open marijuana dispensaries in Ohio—even as she represented, as a defense lawyer, a man accused of murdering someone in a marijuana deal gone bad.”
In a statement to the Free Beacon, Caitlin Sutherland of the Americans for Public Trust slammed Crockett and her undisclosed stocks.
“Personal financial disclosure rules are in place to make sure Members of Congress do not engage in conflicts of interest while working for the American people,” she said.
“The concerns surrounding the extreme discrepancies between Representative Crockett’s state and federal financial disclosures are certainly legitimate. If she is found to have improperly reported her assets and liabilities, further inquiry and possible penalties would be warranted,” she added.

In another statement, Sutherland slammed Crockett for taking advantage of a taxpayer-funded program to get access to a fancy Lexus as her own personal driving vehicle.
“Riding around in a taxpayer-funded Lexus and not being forthcoming with constituents raises ethical questions and is unacceptable, particularly in our current era of rising accountability over government spending,” Sutherland said. “Taxpayers have the right to know what type of vehicle they’re subsidizing to ensure this program is not being abused.”
In fairness, some Republicans have also used the taxpayer-funded program. The only difference is that they have preferred to drive economy vehicles that save money, versus fancy Lexuses and BMWs and whatever else Crockett has hidden underneath her sleeve.
