Democrat superstar Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) explained why America needs the millions of illegal aliens imported under the Biden administration, and it all comes down to slave labor.
The party’s new ideological leader told an audience at a historically black church that the foreigners must be the ones to toil in the fields for low wages because “We done picking cotton!”
The congresswoman made her remarks at the Grace Baptist Church in Waterbury, Connecticut, where she was attending the house of worship’s 125th anniversary celebration over the weekend in yet another of the racially charged takes that have endeared her to the Democrat base and made her into a media fixture since the election.
NEW: Rep. Jasmine Crockett suggests the United States needs illegal immigrants because “we done picking cotton.”
Crockett made the argument that the U.S. needs immigrants for farming while speaking at Grace Baptist Church in Connecticut.

“So I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country, or the fact that we are a country of immigrants. The fact is ain’t none of y’all trying to go and farm right now,” she said to near silence with a few uncomfortable laughs from some congregation members.
“OK, so I’m lying?” Crockett added after her initial remarks failed to connect. “You’re not! You’re not! We done picking cotton! We are. You can’t pay us enough to find a plantation.”
“Again they were able to divide us because any black person that knows their history should know at some point in time in history they looked at us and they acted as if we were less than, they acted as if we were some kind of aliens, they acted as if we had a higher proclivity to commit crimes, they acted as if we were incapable of learning,” she said before her cotton comment, according to the New York Post.
“That’s what they did to us, so who are we to sit and say that we’re gonna do that to somebody else?” Crockett told the audience.
The Dallas firebrand also recently said that illegal aliens are vital to pick crops and clean hotel rooms.

“We need illegals to pick our crops and clean our hotel rooms since the educated won’t,” she explained in viral remarks at the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference and festival last month.
President Donald J. Trump expressed bewilderment that the Democrats would elevate the ghetto trash-talking Texan as their new public face during remarks at the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner on Tuesday.
TRUMP: “The Democrats have taken a lot of beatings. They’ve lost their confidence. They’ve gone crazy. How about this new one they have? Their new star. CROCKETT. Is that real? Are they serious about that? Is that their new star? If that’s their new star they’re in serious… pic.twitter.com/p6V4DX8IIp

“They’ve gone crazy,” he said. “How about this new one they have? Their new star, Crockett. How about her?”
“Are they serious about that, that’s their new star?” Trump asked. “If that’s their new star, they’re in serious trouble…”
“But she’s a lowlife, and she’s a very low-IQ person,” the president said of Crockett during an interview with radio host Vince Coglianese last month, adding, “I don’t imagine the Democrats are going to have a person like that running their party.”
