Conservatives lay into Coney Barrett for joining liberal justices … AGAIN.

Trump supporters are furious with Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett for once again siding with the court’s leftist judges.

This week, Barrett joined the high court’s three liberal justices in voicing opposition to President Donald Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport illegal alien gang members.

Thankfully, Chief Justice John Roberts joined the high court’s four other conservative justices in ruling 5-4 to allow Trump to keep the deportations going.

Anger still remains anyway because Trump supporters believe it should have been a 6-3 decision versus a 5-4 one. Plus, this is the second time in a row that Barrett has sided with the left.

Last month, Barrett again voted with the court’s liberal justices, in addition to John Roberts, to force the Trump administration to unfreeze payments to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Returning to the present, the anger against the Supreme Court justice has reached a fevered pitch, with Trump supporters saying outright that she’s a “disgrace” and worse — much worse.

Look:

The Trump administration, meanwhile, has chosen to let Barrett off the hook since the latest ruling came out on its side anyway.

During a White House briefing on Tuesday, a correspondent for Lindell TV questioned Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about whether the administration was “disappointed” in Barrett.

“Does the administration have a comment on her decision to go with the liberals? … Are they disappointed in Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett?” the correspondent asked.

Leavitt basically said naw.

“We’ve made our feelings very clear,” she began. “We believe this was a massive victory. Certainly, we wish this was a nine-to-nothing decision because we firmly believe that the president was well within his constitutional authority.”

“And the Supreme Court made that very clear last night, and they put Judge Boasberg in his place. We called on the Supreme Court to rein in these judges who are acting as judicial activists, not real arbiters of the truth and the law. And that’s exactly what we saw the Supreme Court do yesterday,” she added.

Listen:

The president has, for his part, also chosen to stand by Barrett.

“She’s a very good woman,” he told reporters after her first decision against him last month. “She’s very smart, and I don’t know about people attacking her, I really don’t know.”

However, it’s not clear how he feels about her latest ruling against him. His allies in Congress, on the other hand, have been very clear about their feelings.
