Jesse Watters reveals his prediction for first female president

Fox News host Jesse Watters took a look into the future to make a prediction about the next presidential race in 2028.

The co-host of “The Five” was discussing with colleague Jeanine Pirro the challenge Democrats face as they struggle to find a leader following epic losses in the November election. Looking to the Republican field, Watters floated the name of a former Fox News personality as his prediction of who could be the nation’s first female president.

“Isn’t it refreshing that a man that they’re pushing for president, the Democrats, is saying, ‘You are so stupid, you have such a weak bench, you’re actually asking me to do it?’” Pirro asked after playing a clip of Stephen A. Smith blasting the Democratic Party.

Watters responded, saying “if you’re a Democrat, now is the time to run. It’s an open primary. You don’t have to run against Trump anymore.”

“I’m more interested on the Republican side,” he added.

“JD Vance did a great job the other day in Europe, and he’s probably got the advantage,” he said, referring to the vice president’s speech at the Munich Security Conference last week.

“I think Megyn Kelly could be president. She is very smart. She’s a great debater. She’s got a good family. She’s telegenic and she’s a woman,” Watters contended, referring to the former Fox News host who currently hosts her own podcast.

Kelly infamously sparred with President Trump over the years but endorsed him in the 2024 race.

“He will be a protector of women. And it’s why I’m voting for him,” Kelly told a crowd in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in November.

“And why not now? Why not have the first female president? A Republican! I think she’ll do a great job also, Hegseth,” Watters continued, referring to another former Fox colleague, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

“I think having said that, if he does a nice job at the Pentagon over the next four years, Hegseth could make a run. And I think he’d do an excellent job as commander-in-chief. There’s a lot of people out there. I don’t think the Democrats are going to nominate a woman. They tried it twice, hasn’t worked,” he added.
