A fiery exchange about morality in politics during a Fox News discussion left Jessica Tarlov battling with “The Five” colleagues as she tried to defend Democrats.
Tarlov perfectly displayed the left’s Trump Derangement Syndrome as she responded to co-host Greg Gutfeld’s question about why liberals hate supporters of President Donald Trump. The segment escalated as Tarlov called President Donald Trump “morally bankrupt” and sparred with Gutfeld and co-hosts Jesse Watters and Paul Mauro.
“Do you have a theory about why liberals care so much that other people like Trump?” Watters asked.
“Because he’s like a completely morally bankrupt person that’s imposing all of these,” she began before Gutfeld interjected.
“But why should you care that I like him? Why should you care?” he questioned.

“Well, I have accepted that you like him, but I think it’s hard for people when they care about someone to say,” Tarlov said as she spoke over her colleagues. “Well, care leads to voting, and voting leads to bad policies…that makes life harder for – ”
“Why can’t I not be a friend of yours if you like Trump?” Gutfeld asked.
“If he was your friend, I would be much more chill about it, but because you like him, he is my president,” Tarlov argued.
“She is misdiagnosing. It has nothing to do with morality,” Watters offered.
“Of course it does,” Tarlov fired back.
“You don’t care about morality,” Watters told her. “Your party doesn’t support standards of morality.”
As Tarlov attempted to dispute Watters’ assessment, he dropped a caseload of examples, saying, “You can do drugs. You can be homeless. You can hit people, rape people, let other murderers into the country. You can do all kinds of things. They don’t judge. They don’t judge.”
“They’re gonna let the Son of Sam out of jail,” an incredulous Mauro chimed in, giving a thumbs down to reinforce his disapproval as he referred to a pair of bills waiting to be passed in New York that could lead to the early parole of some infamous convicts.
“You guys apologize to a guy who tried to shoot the president,” Watters continued to berate Tarlov and Democrats. “Go talk to Bill Clinton about morality.”
“You guys got evangelicals to support a guy who has cheated on every single wife he has had,” Tarlov claimed in attacking Trump.
“But who cares if I like him?” Gutfeld pressed her again.
“I’ve said I don’t care. I have accepted it,” she replied, adding, “Because it reflects poorly on you.”
“Why do liberals care that we like him? It’s because they cannot get themselves emotionally out of the way, and it bothers them. They know that they might be wrong,” Gutfeld added.
