Podcaster Joe Rogan made an explosive claim on Thursday while commenting on President Biden announcing his bid to run for re-election in 2024, asserting that the only prayer Democrats have is that the octogenarian kicks the bucket and soon.
On “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, the viral host discussed Biden’s second run at the presidency with stand-up comedian Dave Smith.
Biden’s announcement came up and Rogan didn’t hold back, “The fact that he’s running again is so wild when you watch him talk. The fact that there’s no leadership that can find a solution to this, cause there really is no solution.”

“Like, what are they gonna do? Like what is — other than Biden dying like very soon, and then someone stepping up in a big way that makes sense,” Rogan proclaimed, alluding to the chances that someone else will get the nomination and noting that he had spoken previously with Smith on this topic.
Smith wholeheartedly agreed with the premise, stating, “Which is not beyond the realm of possibility. He’s older than the average life expectancy I believe already. Not saying he will die, but that is possible. …I could just imagine there’s a boardroom with like very powerful people meeting who they’re like, ‘Okay, we’re getting him out. What’s the plan? Like, how do we do this?’ And I think they just cannot come up with one.”
“I can’t come up with one. I mean, I’m not a political strategist, but, you know, I know the landscape. I know who’s out there,” Rogan contended.

The conversation then turned to Biden using Vice President Kamala Harris as a human shield to ensure he gets nominated as the Democrats’ candidate simply because no one can stand her.
Smith pointed out that President Biden has “brilliantly insulated himself” by having Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate.
“It’s not a bad move,” Rogan said, making the comparison to former President George H.W. Bush and his vice presidential pick, Dan Quayle.
“It’s amazing. It’s a good move. I mean, it’s kind of a b*tch move though. You know what it’s kind of like, it’s kind of like those, headliner comics who bring terrible openers,” Rogan snarked.
Biden will be 82 when his first term ends, and if he is somehow re-elected he would be 86 years old by the end of his second term. Former UN ambassador and Republican contender for the presidential nomination in 2024, Nikki Haley, believes that Biden might not stick around that long.
“He announced that he’s running again in 2024, and I think that we can all be very clear and say with a matter of fact that if you vote for Joe Biden you really are counting on a President Harris,” Haley declared on Fox News this week. “Because the idea that he would make it until 86 years old is not something that I think is likely.”

Biden is currently not facing any serious primary challenger and many Democrats aren’t enthusiastic about a second term for him. Despite that, he polls far ahead of other big names in the party, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Vice President Harris, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
According to The Hill, “Just 37 percent of Democrats said they wanted Biden to seek a second term in a February poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.”
“Yet in a Harris poll this month asking who Democrats would vote for in a primary, Biden held a 27-point lead over Harris in second place, followed by Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.),” the media outlet reported.
