Mega-podcaster Joe Rogan believes Democrats have no choice but to back President Joe Biden for reelection as they have “no cards” left to play in the 2024 run for the White House.
Biden’s feasibility as a candidate was up for discussion as the host of ” The Joe Rogan Experience” talked with guest, athlete and physician Dr. Shawn Baker, about how the Democrat Party is effectively tied to the feeble 81-year-old commander-in-chief “unless he dies.”
Rogan came to the conclusion after he took aim at Gov. Gavin Newsom’s failed policies in California, saying “the only thing that I saw that was effective at all in stopping the tents in the homeless situation was when [Chinese President] Xi Jinping visited San Francisco.”

“What’s going to happen in the next election? I mean, is Biden even going to be able to run?” Baker wondered after talking about the possibility of Newsom stepping in to be the 2024 Democrat nominee.
“I think, at this point, they kind of have to run him. Unless he dies,” Rogan replied.
“We have one year now. We’re in November, we’re in late November, we have less than a year. What are they going to do?” he continued.
“Look, if Biden died tomorrow, and then what do they do with Kamala Harris? They’re going to put her on the moon? Like, what are they going to do? She’s the vice president,” he added.”If he dies, she becomes the president, which is f—ing wild when you hear that lady talk.”
Baker painted an alternate picture of Harris stepping in as president after Biden says, “I’m just not feeling up to it.” But then, according to Baker’s theory, Harris would step down as the nation’s first female president at the Democratic Party convention, prompting the party to potentially say, “Let’s give it to Newsom.”
“That is possible,” Rogan reacted. “But it would be a real problem for people that are Kamala Harris supporters. And believe it or not, they exist.”
“I think they have f—ing no cards, and they’re looking at this game,” Rogan continued. “And I don’t know, I think they’re depending upon party loyalty. And they’re depending upon Trump getting convicted and arrested and imprisoned rather. I don’t know if that’s going to happen. I don’t think it is. It seems like it’s a bunch of trumped-up charges, no pun intended.”
He then discussed with Baker how the timing of the judicial attacks on Trump seemed suspicious.
“It does make sense,” the podcaster contended, “if you want to look at banana republic tactics.”
Social media users seemed to generally agree with Rogan’s theoretical scenario, with many offering their versions of what may play out for Democrats.
