Joy Behar dares Trump to come face ‘The View’ women

The ladies of “The View” were discussing the resignation announcement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., when Joy Behar issued a surprise invitation.

Much has been made about the potential motivations behind MTG’s decision to resign from her congressional seat. While President Donald Trump, with whom she has been at odds for some time, celebrated the announcement and wished her well, others couldn’t help but notice that she is leaving “just 1-2 days after her pension kicks in.” The co-hosts of “The View” sat down to discuss the escalating political rift.

Watch:

The group mentioned that MTG had been on their show in the past, where she “talked about SNAP benefits, and her constituents and the Affordable Care Act.” But Sunny Hostin claims that her actions, such as voting for Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill, undermine her words.

“She voted for the Big, Beautiful Bill. She knew very well that the Affordable Care Act was going to be gutted. So I think that she’s someone who is pretty clever, a little more clever than I gave her credit for, and she’s going to run for Senate, governor or the presidency,” Hostin predicted.

“People call me naive, but I give her the benefit of the doubt,” co-host Ana Navarro said.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene?” Hostin asked incredulously.

“I do, I do,” Navarro confirmed. “I do think that the Charlie Kirk assassination was an ‘ah-ha moment’ for her in terms of, do I really want to be part of this horrible political climate and of the polarization and the weaponizing of government and speech and all of that stuff. I also think she could have served one more year if she wanted, right? Her term is not over until January of 2027.”

She also pointed out that Trump slammed Greene for going on “The View,” a platform that has been primarily used to bash him over the course of his first and second terms.

“To me, one of the ironic things, one of the things that Trump attacked her on was coming on “The View.” Apparently, that was like the last nail in the coffin,” Navarro said.

“You know, that really hurt her a lot. So I’d like to take this moment to invite Trump to come on,” Joy Behar snarked, to applause from the audience.

“I’d like to take this moment to remind Trump that his daughter Ivanka has been on six times. Melania has been on four times, once she was a guest co-host. Ivana Trump was on two times, Donald Trump Jr. has been on when he was hawking his book. Even Marla Maples has been on one time, you know, the second ex. If being on ‘The View’ is such a bad thing, maybe he should start by saying it to his family over Thanksgiving,” Navarro ranted.
