Joy Behar hit with truth bombs for claiming Republicans ‘too scared’ to face her: ‘My offer STILL stands’

Republicans fired back in droves after “The View” co-host Joy Behar alleged on Wednesday that they’re too scared to come on the show.

Behar made the claim after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s wife, actress Cheryl Hines, appeared on the show.

“I think that we should have more Republicans on the show, but they don’t want to come on — they’re scared of us,” Behar said.

In response to her remarks, dozens of Republicans said that they’d love to come on the show but either had never been invited or were outright rejected when they pitched themselves to the program.

“@ByronDonalds has offered to join @TheView but the show has declined,” Florida Rep. Bryon Donalds’ 2026 gubernatorial campaign consultant tweeted. “@JoyVBehar should have checked with her team before making the ridiculous claim ‘[Republicans] are scared of us.'”

Donalds himself added in a tweet of his own that his “offer still stands” and that he’s “ready when you are.”

Women’s rights activist Riley Gaines wrote in a tweet that she, too, was “pitched to go on” the show but ultimately rejected.

“Joy Behar says Republicans are afraid to come on The View. This is a lie,” conservative radio show host Clay Travis added. “I’m happy to come by for a visit.”

He even offered proof of his producer pitching him and his co-host, Buck Sexton, to the show over the summer:

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh, meanwhile, not only revealed that he’d been turned away from “The View” sometime in the past — he also went on to literally beg to be on the show.

“This is my heartfelt appeal to the ladies of The View,” he wrote on the social platform X. “If they have me on, I promise we’ll have a lovely and agreeable conversation. I’m widely regarded as the friendliest and most moderate conservative. Everyone says this about me.”

Included with his tweet was a video of him making his case:

Fox News has obtained proof that Walsh and other conservative Republicans aren’t lying about having been rejected by the show.

The network has specifically “obtained emails showing a booker for ‘The View’ either denying or dodging offers to have on such prominent conservative guests as Gaines, Walsh and New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz.”

“Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer was told there wasn’t ‘room at the moment’ when a representative pitched him appearing on Veterans Day next month,” the network added.
