Judge Jeanine schools NYC mayor on dealing with migrant crisis: ‘Roll up your sleeves, start dealing with reality’

New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ (D) self-inflicted sanctuary city crisis got no sympathy from Jeanine Pirro who slammed Hizzoner who “talked the talk and didn’t walk the walk.”

Despite impassioned pleas, few seemed interested in having anything to do with the mayor’s pity party over the poor management of the illegal alien crisis throughout the five boroughs. While he spent time this week lamenting the busloads of border crossers sent courtesy of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), whom he referred to as a “madman,” Fox News’ Pirro unloaded with a reality check for the Gracie Mansion resident.

“You know what? It’s actually humorous and I mean it sarcastically,” she began after her colleagues on Fox News’ “The Five” had had their say. “This is a guy who talked the talk and didn’t walk the walk. This is a guy who today has to put his money where his mouth is. This is a guy who today is passionate. Why? Because New Yorkers are fed up in all the five boroughs.”

Throughout his campaign and tenure as mayor, Adams has fallen back on his stated position of laying out to the world a welcome mat to Gotham. However, as with many leftists, the mayor has presented himself as ill-prepared to assume responsibility for the consequences of his actions.

Having sought the aid of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) and President Joe Biden, communities across the city were increasingly pushing back on the poor management of the crisis.

“They are going crazy on Staten Island,” pointed out the Fox News host of ongoing protests over the conversion of a former Catholic school into a shelter for aliens.

“They are going crazy, the people who have businesses near hotels that have more than 50 percent illegals, the people who are now in places that were historic, places that are being changed so that we can put illegals in. This guy was going to put illegals in schools so kids couldn’t have gym classes. I mean, yeah, he’s passionate,” Pirro continued.

“He doesn’t want to lose his job,” she railed over the newfound enthusiasm.

“But I tell you, I am furious about the fact that he wants to blame Gov. Abbott as if Gov. Abbott is not also an elected American official suffering from the same negative policies that have destroyed his state for two years,” the judge added of shots against the Lone Star State’s handling of the crisis where the Biden administration actually filed suit against them for efforts to secure the border.

“This guy gets a couple of months of it, ‘No, I can’t take it. I can’t take it.’ If you can’t take it, then go after Joe Biden,” insisted Pirro. “If you can’t take it, then you call Joe Biden a madman. You don’t call Greg Abbott a madman.”

“And I’ll tell you something else. Everyone in New York City is paying a price to live here. We’re losing businesses. There’s a mass exodus because of what’s happened to the city and I resent the fact that he says, ‘I turned this city around.’ No, you didn’t,” she argued turning to the violent crime epidemic. “This city is devolving further and further. The crime is horrible. We just heard about a 60-year-old woman who was hit with her own cane 50 times. The police let the guy go.”

“You know, mayor,” she concluded her rant, “roll up your sleeves and start dealing with reality and stop talking.”

Pirro was far from alone in her sentiment as others chimed in support of her takedown and against Adams’ pitiable complaints.
