Some users asked standard questions such as “What will you major in in college” and “What is your favorite family tradition for Christmas?” Others asked more creative questions, one of which brought a blush to the young girl’s cheeks.
“Most embarrassing moment with your grandpa?” one user asked.
“I brought one of my guy friends to play golf and he goes ‘Oh my God look how handsome your boyfriend is’ and I got so embarrassed because he has a girlfriend, like, that was just awkward. That was my most embarrassing moment ever. And then when he met a guy I was talking to, that was kind of embarrassing but we don’t have to talk about that.”
Next up, someone asked who her celebrity crush was. With a grandfather like Donald Trump, it’s safe to say Kai has been around celebrities, politicians, and high-power individuals for most of her life so one might be tempted to think her “celebrity crush” would be someone she’s met before. However, her answer might surprise you.
“Oh my God, I know. Why do I need my phone? His name is Drew Starkey. Do you guys know him — ‘Outer Banks?’”
At one point she was asked what the coolest part of having a president for a grandfather was.
“There’s a lot of cool aspects obviously, going to the White House, doing historic things, but to me nothing has really changed in my life. I’m still a normal kid and I still live a normal life and I think yeah there’s pros and cons to it but, I guess the coolest thing is going to the White House,” she said. “But he’s still my grandpa, nothing’s really changed. We talk, we eat lunch we still golf together. So yeah, he’s the President of the United States but to me he’s still grandpa.”
