Kamala Harris interview with Charlamagne tha God gets testy when he asks who the ‘real’ president is

This week Vice President Kamala Harris participated in an interview with Charlamagne tha God, the host of a Comedy Central show called “Tha God’s Honest Truth.”

The show functions, for all intents and purposes, like a Democrat Party propaganda PR operation, in that it mostly revolves around promoting the party’s agenda to a T.

This week’s interview, however, was somewhat of an exception. During the interview, Charlamagne repeatedly pressed the vice president about West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin’s refusal to support the party’s radical agenda.

Charlamagne specifically accused the senator of “ruining this country” and “hurting black people.” Both allegations are false. The “Build Back Better” plan that Manchin refuses to get behind would increase taxes and further spike inflation, according to economists, and that certainly wouldn’t help black people.

As the Comedy Central host repeatedly peppered Harris with questions about Manchin, she slowly but surely grew visibly uncomfortable and upset.

Her frustration reached a boiling point near the end of the interview when Charlamagne asked her who America’s “real president” is.

“I want to know who the real president of this country is — is it Joe Biden or Joe Manchin?” he said.

Before Harris could respond, senior advisor Symone Sanders interrupted to tell Charlamagne that they had to “wrap” up the interview.

“It’s Symone. I’m so sorry Charlamagne. We have to wrap,” she said.

As she spoke, Harris looked like she was having a panic attack:

Charlamagne essentially ignored Symone and said to his audience that the vice president “can hear me.”

Symone apparently misheard him and replied, “Can you hear me? Can you hear me now?”

Charlamagne again ignored her and said, “Can you hear me, Madam Vice President?”

Harris said nothing. She just sat there fidgeting and looking confused as Symone kept speaking in her stead.

This prompted the Comedy Central host to say, “They’re acting like they can’t hear me.”

That was enough to finally prod Harris into replying.

“I can hear you,” she said.

Charlamagne then repeated his question.

“Come on, Charlemagne,” the vice president replied.

“I really …,” the host tried responded.

“It’s Joe Biden,” Harris reiterated.

“I can’t tell sometimes,” Charlemagne rebutted.

And that’s when the fireworks began, with Harris’s voice growing notably more shrill and angry.

“No, no, no, no, no, no! It’s Joe Biden, and don’t start talking like a Republican about asking whether or not he’s president!” she said.

As noted earlier, the show functions as a Democrat Party PR operation, and the number one rule of Democrat Party PR club is that you never question the party.

The vice president then delivered a brief speech full of vague platitudes about the Democrat Party’s plans to ostensibly help people.

“It’s Joe Biden, and I’m the vice president. My name is Kamala Harris. And the reality is, because we are in office, we do the things like the child tax credit which is going to reduce black child poverty by 50 percent, on track to do that. We do things that are about saying that our Department of Justice is going to do these investigations and require that we end chokeholds and have body cameras,” she said.

“It is the work of saying we’re going to get lead out of pipes and paint because our babies are suffering because of that. It is the work of saying people who ride public transit deserve the same kind of dignity that anybody else does, so let’s improve that system. It is the work of saying that we have got to bring down prescription drug costs because folks who have diabetes should not be dying because they don’t have enough money in their pocket,” the VP added.

She of course neglected to mention that the ostensibly compassionate policies the administration has been pursuing have been hurting people, not helping them.

“It’s about saying black maternal mortality is a real issue that must be treated by everybody, including the White House, as a serious issue. I hear the frustration, but let’s not deny the impact that we’ve had and agree also that there is a whole lot more work to be done, and it is not easy to do, but we will not give up and I will not give up,” she added.

Apparently, this spiel impressed Charlamagne.

“I just want you to know, Madam Vice President, that Kamala — that’s the one I like, that’s the one that was putting the pressure on people in Senate hearings, that’s the one I’d like to see more often out here in these streets,” he said.

Former Sen. Harris was one of the Democrat senators who ruthlessly attacked and smeared Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings three years ago.

However, not everybody was impressed. Some critics — both Republicans and Democrats — later lashed out on social media both at Harris for her non-answer answers and Charlamagne for his so-called “tough” questions.

Look:

A genuinely tough question would have been, why are you pursuing policies that are clearly hurting the American people?
