‘Karen’ neighbor of NFL star Terrell Owens charged with lying to police after viral summer altercation

The woman who confronted NFL legend Terrell Owens over the summer has been charged with lying to police.

Caitlyn Davis is facing jail time if convicted of “knowingly giving false information to a law enforcement officer … concerning the alleged commission of a crime.”

In a viral video recorded by Owens in his own neighborhood, Davis can be heard telling police that he had run a stop sign and almost hit her with his car. She also claimed that he had “rolled his window down and started harassing me.”

She also claimed that Owens got out of his vehicle when she asked him to slow down.

“I asked him to slow down, and he got out of his car and he started harassing me,” Davis alleged.

“I’m driving to my mailbox, she’s telling me that I’m speeding,” Owens explained to police officers of his side of the story. “Telling me to slow down.”

“You didn’t have to get out of your f—ing car,” she would go on to scream at Owens.

“You didn’t have to talk to me that way, either,” he replied.

“You’re a black man approaching a white woman!” Davis exclaimed angrily.

The woman burst into tears at this point, as her husband tried to usher her back into the house. “He literally came after me,” she blubbered.

“I didn’t almost hit you, now you’re just making up stuff, just like a Karen,” the retired footballer retorted. An off-camera woman also attempted to defend Owens, claiming that he never sped through the area.

In the end, Davis’ crocodile tears didn’t save her, and her reputation as a “Karen” will likely live on in infamy. Her court date is set for December.
