Democrats are once again exploiting a tragic mass shooting to advance an extreme gun control agenda with President Joe Biden demanding congressional action on banning assault weapons as the White House has declined to rule out whether he supports a far more drastic measure in the form of an actual confiscation of certain types of weapons from law-abiding firearm owners.
While the anti-Second Amendment forces sought to strike while public outrage is still fresh following Monday’s murder of six people including three young children at a Nashville Christian school by a disturbed woman who identified as transgender, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to answer a question from a member of the press as to whether the divider in chief’s proposed assault weapons ban would lead to the federal government coming for millions of semi-automatic guns from Americans who would never dream of engaging in the mass murder of children.
During Wednesday’s daily press briefing, the reporter asked whether Biden’s proposed measures would include not just a ban but the actual confiscating of assault weapons, an objective that has long been the dream of a ruthlessly ideological political left that understands very well that the constitutional right to bear arms is a major obstacle to their ability to impose their evil plans upon a populace that currently possesses the capacity to resist.
“The last presidential campaign, one of the Democrat contenders said that what he would do is come for AR-15s,” the reporter said, referring to quirky Texan Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, “Does the president support not just banning the sale and manufacture of semi-automatic weapons but further than that, confiscation?”
“Let me just be very clear,” Biden’s chief spox responded. “What we’re talking about, AR15s, this assault weapons ban, they are weapons of war, and they should not be on the streets across the country in our communities. They should not be in schools. They should not be in grocery stores. They should not be in churches. That’s what the president believes, and he has done more than any other president the first two years on the executive order.”

“As you know, we all know how government works,” Jean-Pierre said. “There’s only so much that he can do. And so now it’s time for Congress to do the work. And he’s happy to sign, once that happens, he’s happy to sign that legislation that says, ‘OK, we’re going to remove assault weapons — we’re going have an assault weapons ban.”
Shortly before he posed the question about gun confiscation, the same reporter asked the historic first black lesbian immigrant to hold the job for Biden’s response to those Republicans who would argue there are “25 million of these devices out there in circulation in the homes of millions of Americans and therefore, you can’t ban them,” in reference to the semi-automatic weapons.
“That’s unacceptable,” she shot back. “That’s our response. It’s unacceptable that Republicans are saying that there’s nothing that we can do. Our schools, our churches, our places of worship have now become deadly places for many Americans who have lost their lives. Just this past year.”
“Hell, we’re gonna take your AR-15!” O’Rourke vowed at a 2019 Democrat debate and he meant it so much that he also hawked anti-Second Amendment merchandise with the totalitarian slogan emblazoned upon them on his website.

Prior to ducking and weaving on Biden’s possible yearning for disarmament, Jean-Pierre shamed Republican lawmakers for their reluctance to bend the knee to the gun grabbers, insinuating the blood of the slaughtered Nashville children was on their hands while guilt-tripping them over the grieving parents of the nine-year-old victims whose chance to grow up was stolen away by the mentally ill, transgender shooter, remarks that one GOP senator, Tom Cotton of Arkansas, found to be beyond the pale.
It doesn't get much lower than blaming Republicans in Congress for a transgender killer who targeted a Christian school.

“How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act to pass the assault weapons ban, to close loopholes in our background … in our background check system, or to require the safe storage of guns?” Jean-Pierre said during Monday’s daily briefing after the news of the shootings broke. “We need to do something. Once again, the president calls on Congress to do something before another child is senselessly killed in a preventable act of gun violence. Again, we need to do something.”
