Klaus Schwab lectures world leaders on ‘deep systemic’ global restructuring at G20

The G20 Heads of State and Government Summit kicked off Tuesday on the Indonesian island of Bali, with President Biden reportedly planning to push the leaders of the world’s largest economies to get tougher on Russia by enforcing a price cap on Russian oil and gas that he hopes will stabilize the global energy market.

There was also a Klaus Schwab sighting in Bali, and whenever the founder of the World Economic Forum appears so too does talk about the Great Reset and a “new world order.” This being ground that must be tread carefully, as our fact-checking overlords have dubbed such talk as “baseless” conspiracy theories centered on an “alleged” globalist plot to limit individual freedom and destroy American sovereignty and prosperity.

Schwab is seen in a video making the rounds speaking at the Business 20 (B20), which is the “official G20 dialogue forum with the global business community,” according to the organization’s website, which states that the B20, held Sunday and Monday, “is among the most prominent Engagement Groups in G20, and is tasked with formulating policy recommendations on designated issues.”

While he may not have mentioned a “new world order” specifically, Schwab was certainly talking about transformational change.

“What we have to confront is a deep systemic and structural restructuring of our world. This will take some time and the world will look differently after we have gone through this transition process,” he proclaimed from the stage.

To his credit, Schwab is not hiding his intentions, as seen in an editorial published on the World Economic Forum website titled, “Now is the time for a ‘great reset.’”

The piece was penned in June 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic in full swing, and he offered his solution to the crisis.

“The world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” Schwab said. “In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism. … We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems. The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented. But it is not some impossible dream.”

Going full circle, Schwab’s appearance set social media off, as did reports of Bill Gates being on hand. A common question being posed was when were these two elected to govern our lives?
