Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday following an allergic reaction, according to sources who contacted CNN. It was reported that she “was transported by ambulance on Tuesday to a hospital in Washington, D.C.,” with one source relaying that Noem was “conscious at the hospital and has spoken to her security detail.”
DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin gave a brief statement to CNN, indicating that the secretary was recovering.
