There’s an all hands on deck effort by the White House and its media lackeys to salvage the Biden administration’s “border security” deal which could be in big trouble after GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump came out against it.
One of the regime’s most friendly media outlets is CNN and on Sunday, anchor Dana Bash sparred with Republican South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem over Biden’s Friday statement demanding that Congress get cracking and send him a bill that he claimed would give him the authority to “shut down” the southern border, something that he could do with a stroke of his pen without legislation.
Fully armed with regime talking points blaming Republicans and Trump for the border crisis, Bash was no match for Noem who swatted down her TV lobbying for Biden’s Ukraine giveaway wrapped in the guise of border legislation.

Asked if congressional Republicans should support Biden and the Senate’s dirty deal, the governor didn’t give the answer that Bash was likely expecting.
“Why doesn’t President Biden take action today?” Noem said. “Today can be day one. He can immediately announce that he is reinstating the stay in Mexico policy. He can immediately announce that he’s going to refocus on building a wall. He can do those today.”
“I listened to Nancy Pelosi talk earlier. She’s been in Congress for decades and has talked about immigration for decades and hat has she accomplished?” Noem asked, referring to the former House Speaker. We have a president that has all the tools that he needs to protect our country today and he’s refusing to do that so to look at Congress and expect them to pass a bill when they’ve failed for decades to do this and then to say we have to accept this poison pill of a bill that — it essentially codifies illegal immigration,” she said as Bash stared into the camera with a sour look on her face.
“It’s a terrible bill that I think President Trump is exactly right, it should not pass and push President Biden to take action because he has all the federal laws that he needs today to keep us safe, to stop the drugs that are coming into this country and killing us. We have children dying every day from fentanyl poisoning. We have children….,” Noem continued.
Bash interrupted at this point to bring up Republican senators who are attacking Trump, teeing up clips of a handful of RINOs.
“That is language and casting aspersions that they do not have the knowledge and the facts to speak to,” the governor responded. “The fact of the matter is that when President Trump was in the White House, he secured our border. He started building a wall. He had policies in place that didn’t create the chaos that we’re seeing today.”
“So you can say a lot of things and talk a lot of talk and U.S. senators are really good at spinning a story to make themselves look good. What I would say is that I always look for someone who’s willing to take action and President Biden has all the authority he he needs to take action today,” the governor said, pointing out the simple truth that if Biden really wanted to stem the tide of illegal aliens into the country that he could do so with an executive order.
“We’ve got almost ten million people come into our country and we’ve got a lot of people that have been on the terrorist watch list, dangerous criminals that are coming into the United States who do not love us that we’re allowing to enter our country,” Noem added. “It’s an unsafe situation and the president can be the one who stands up and shows leadership at this time.”
Noem steamrolled on. “Change your policies. Build a wall. Secure the border…” until Bash interrupted again, insisting that Biden is doing his job and that he’s “doing what Republicans want” as she stood by her man.
“What has he done?” Noem asked. “He’s done nothing as far as actual policies and actually using the tools that he has.”
“Why doesn’t President Biden take action to secure the border TODAY?” Noem wrote on X along with a clip of her thorough dismantling of the White House’s CNN shill.

“The so-called border security deal Biden is gushing out and pushing out is not designed to stop illegal immigration,” Trump told the crowd at a rally in Las Vegas on Saturday. “It’s designed to continue the invasion of America while sending billions of dollars to Ukraine and other countries.”
