Trump Derangement Syndrome has reached ridiculous levels in America, so it comes as no surprise that Amazon’s “Melania” documentary, which will premiere to the public on Friday, is not safe from the unhinged zealots.
There is a report out of Los Angeles that city buses featuring ads for the movie were “rerouted” to “mitigate any potential vandalism,” coming in response to a claim that the buses were taken out of service ahead of the preview.
Elizabeth Barochana, a L.A. Republican Party Central Committee member, said in a post shared on X: “Local Los Angeles leaders are receiving tips that LA County Metro is grounding a fleet of buses that COINCIDENTALLY bear paid ads for… Melania Trump’s movie until after Friday’s release. Can you guys be less obvious?”

Metro Los Angeles responded, “We’re not pulling ads from the system. Our buses do return to the bus divisions around our region during the service day for various reasons — refueling, change of operators, cleaning, maintenance, etc.”
Barochana asked the agency if the buses with the “Melania” ads on them will be driving their normal routes the next two days?
“Buses routinely return to bus yards. We also had to move some of the buses around to divisions and/or routes to where we thought we could mitigate any potential vandalism. To be clear: we’re not trying to avoid putting any bus in service because of any ads on them,” LA Metro replied.
The GOP official was responding to a post stating that Los Angeles was reportedly parking around 100 buses that were advertising the “Melania” documentary until Monday.
Here’s more from that social media account:
Instead of delivering the service that the producers paid for, @metrolosangeles is *hiding* the Melania buses in each division.
Whose idea was this? @JaniceHahn @LindseyPHorvath?

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
Why or why can’t they do anything honest ?! Do they always have to take money for things they don’t do ?

Hope whomever did the ad buy and the client sues them into oblivion. Advertising contracts tend to be very specific. They are buying daily impressions (how many people see it). Those impression numbers come from pop density, traffic counts, etc for this type of medium.

Also, expect a lot of violent vandalism at bus stops from the “Tolerant Left” like this at Fulton and Riverside pic.twitter.com/LdlaKdGlpw
