Protesters gathered outside the federal Bishop Henry Whipple Building in Minneapolis on Thursday, but events suggest the demonstration was anything but organic.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham was on hand and asked a Democratic Party foot soldier protesting in the middle of the day, “Do you have a job?”
To Ingraham’s surprise, the woman answered, “I’m getting paid right now!”

One likelihood is that the woman may have been an educator. Minneapolis Public Schools cancelled all classes and activities for the week after an ICE agent was forced to take defensive actions when a left-wing activist reportedly charged at him in her vehicle.
Jeremy Carl, a Senior Fellow at the Claremont Institute who served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Interior during the first Trump administration, opined, “Minneapolis public schools close for the rest of the week so that teachers and other staff can protest against ICE and Trump on the taxpayer dime. The Democrats use government power in ways The GOP would never even dream of. Time to level up.”
A Daily Wire reporter found herself in the right place at what proved to be the wrong time for a likely AFL-CIO union organizer.
“I’m on the ground in Minneapolis for @realDailyWire. This AM one of the organizers, in an @AFLCIO vest, thought I was part of the group. ‘Did everyone get the message we’re moving out?’ I said no. ‘We are moving out. We hit our goal time,’” Brecca Stoll posted on X.
“Goal time. This is not organic,” Stoll added.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Thursday evening that 11 protesters were arrested on “assault and obstruction charges.”
The anti-ICE mob was blocking law enforcement vehicles from entering the building, and “assaulting and spitting on federal law enforcement,” Fox 9 Minneapolis reported, citing federal authorities.
